It was a cold and snowy evening as we made our way back towards the wooden cabin we'd be staying in for the next few days. Lisa and I were skiing at a resort outside of the city with Rosé and Jisoo. A wonderland of enchantment all of our own.
"Why did we think skiing would be a good idea?" Lisa joked as she fell onto the couch in exhaustion.
"It was fun besides it was the first time." I stated, handing her a cup of hot chocolate as I sat beside her.
"I think tomorrow we should just spend the day like this in the cabin, enjoying hot chocolate by the fire." She took a sip of the drink, the anguish of the day melting away as she smiled at the taste of the warm aroma.
"You mean basically what we're doing now?" I laughed as she shrugged her shoulders, enjoying the comfortable silence that fell between us. I smiled at her, staring in awe.

For the rest of the evening, we sat beside the roaring fire, listening to it crackling as we sat beneath the romantic mood lighting. It was perfect, being there with Lisa was my version of paradise.
I don't know how much time had passed as I sat with Lisa's arms around me on the couch but I suddenly noticed she'd become unusually quiet. I smiled at her, seeing she was deep in thought. "Is everything okay, Lili."
She seemed nervous as she reached into her bag to find a small, navy box with velvet lining. "Jennie... I did have a reason why I asked you on this trip."
My heart began to race, at the hope of the question I'd been dreaming of her to ask for so long. "I love you and I can't imagine being with anyone else. I want us to spend the rest of our lives together, I promise I'll spend every day trying to make you happy. Will you marry me?"
"Of course I will, Lisa!" She smiled widely, placing the ring on my finger as I hugged her tightly knowing we were about to start the rest of our journey together. I knew she was the one and in that moment it was as if we were starting a new chapter in our lives, one filled with love and happiness. Maybe this was our own version of wonderland.
