Jisoo's P.O.V.

It had been another busy day at the studio as I relaxed on the couch, enjoying the peace and quiet after the hectic schedule. Lisa and Jennie had gone out to buy dinner while Rosé was still at the studio recording a solo song.

I'd decided to go back to the dormitory alone having not been in the best mood for a few weeks. One stormy evening, I'd damaged one of my favourite books that had been left in the balcony in the rain and it was difficult to find a replacement. It was a book I'd had for years and for some reason was one of those ocels I found comfort in, losing myself within the intricate plot and enchanting characters.

So in my sour mood, I reached for a can of soda from the refrigerator and decided to rest in the lounge. As was usual in my free time, I decided to a play video game using my handheld console. Other than reading, video games were often my passion and lately I'd found myself playing more games after rehearsals or interviews from the long schedules we'd had to attend.

Yet whilst I was, engrossed in the game, I hadn't realised how long it had been until I felt a tap on my shoulder starling me. I glanced anxiously only to be relieved find Rosé smiling sat beside me. We'd been dating for a year but I never got tired of seeing her beautiful smile.

Startled from the sound of the video game I jumped, making her chuckle. "Hey, are you feeling any better?"

I have her a small smile and sighed. "Yeah just still disappointed about the book."

With a sparkle in her eyes she reached into her YSL bad that was leaning against the couch. From inside, she handed me a small parcel that was wrapped in a light shade of purple paper. "This is for you. It's an early Christmas present."

My eyes went wide in surprise, knowing the festive season wasn't for another couple of months yet. Still in my curiosity, I carefully unwrapped the paper to find myself speechless holding the very book I'd been missing. It was in pristine condition and was a limit edition copy so difficult and rare to find with a personal message written from Rosé on the inside cover.

Some stories are just so unique, you remember every chapter. I know the story you and I write for our future will be just as special and certainly magical.

Rosé

Instinctively, I pulled her into cuddle and smiled widely. "Thank you, Rosé. This means the world to me. This must have taken you so long to find."

"You're welcome, fortunately I have a friend that works in publishing and they managed to locate that copy but please try not to leave it in the rain." She laughed, flicking her blonde hair over her shoulder as she looked away shyly.

"I read that book you know and I can tell why you like it. It's a beautiful story, just like you and I." She whispered and I knew in that moment she was the one. That special and unique person I was destined to spend the rest of my life with.
