Maggie's head was throbbing as she lifted it from the pillow the next morning - glancing over to see Steve lying next to her. Clothes were strewn around the room, a bottle of half empty champagne was set on the side along with empty beer bottles. A party had certainly gone on for sure - but yet they were the only the two of them there.

She noted the tattoo that was the latest addition to his others on the side of one of his arms. A magpie...

He'd gone straight to the tattoo parlour last night and got it.

Right after they had got married...

Maggie groaned and rubbed at her head as she rolled out of bed and shuffled to the bathroom, looking at her reflection in the mirror.

She looked like shit and splashed her face with some water to try and wake up more. Not that it would make any improvement to how she was feeling right now. Nauseous and with a headache the size of Vegas itself.

"Mags..." Steve grunted as he woke up slightly while she was getting back in beside him.

Leaning in she kissed him. "Go back to sleep rockstar - we need it".

He groaned as he rolled onto his back, naked form on show for anyone, who walked in, to see. "My head hurts, my body hurts - even my dick hurts - what the hell did you do to me?"

"Probably due to you having me in every position possible last night - certainly ended our wedding night with a bang". She smirked, noting the marks on her wrists where they had been bound together with his belt - her new husband having her every way and any way he wanted.

And it had been ultimate bliss.

Laughing lightly, he pulled her onto him and looked up at her. "Mrs Rogers, fuck yeah". Pressing his lips to hers. "You're never gonna want for anything again - you know that?"

"What about sex?" She grinned, feeling his hand trail to between her legs.

"You'd never have to ask because if I had my way? I'd be inside you every single day." Nibbling at her ear and then trailing kisses down her neck, he continued to tease the spot between her legs, causing her to grind against his hand until he had her all but shaking against him and coating him with everything that she had.

Rolling off him, Maggie lay back and stared at the ceiling. "I still can't believe we actually went and got hitched", turning her head to the side to look at him.

He did the same to look at her. "Sometimes you gotta just jump right in Magpie".

"You spent most of your life jumping?" She asked out of interest but already seemed to know just what his answer would be.

"Only way I've lived it Magpie". He shrugged. "No point wasting time, just gotta grab it by the balls and if it don't work out? Well, that's my own fault - and I've fucked things up, I'm not gonna lie about that. You of all people know that I'm not perfect. I don't claim to be either. Nothing will ever change with that".

She sat up and leant back against the headboard, Steve's head resting in her lap as she then toyed with his hair. "Only you can change yourself. Give up the booze, drugs - I'm scared Steve. Last thing I want is you ending up like Rocket or worse".

"I know..." He said as he looked up at her. "I can try, like I said - but you know I also don't make any promises."

"Not even for your wife?"

He shook his head. "Last thing I want is to promise you I'll clean myself up, and then hurt you by letting you down - because even I know it won't happen fully".

"Trying is enough for me - but for you to actually conquer it? That would be better".

He looked deep in thought for a moment. "Perhaps you shouldn't have married me".

"Why?"

His eyes went to hers. "Because you'll leave..."

"Steve I..."

He sat up and ran a hand through his hair. "I haven't done the whole commitment shit before - purely based on me knowing how it would end. So this? It's new. I don't wanna fuck it up, I'll try not to. But with how I am? What I do? You'll leave..."

"Look at me". She said and in end turned his head to face hers. "You told me that I was the only one who could understand you, and I'm still trying. But maybe it's time to have a positive outlook on something instead of doom and gloom. I'm not leaving. No matter what you do, how and when you do it? I won't leave. What I can do is actually enjoy being your wife and feeling smug about it". Now leaning in and kissing him. "All that you've said? It's hangover talk. You've said stuff like this before. So how about we stay in bed, sleep it off until you've gotta go to sound check? Then, once you're all done? You get to come back to this..." She now flashed a peek of her body at him.

He grinned. "Now that? I'm gonna enjoy coming home to that". Kissing her again he brushed some stray hair from her face. "I'm sorry Mag. I shouldn't be saying shit like this right after we've just got hitched".

"Enjoy the moment. I certainly am".

"I could think of other things you'd enjoy..." He grabbed her legs and pulled her down toward him.

"So why don't you remind me of them again?"
