Living in this world—no, living in my world, everything feels heavy. From waking up before the sun rises, to going to school then from walking home to do schoolworks, to going to a room to practice fighting combat.

My world sucks. I am stuck in my own world, I can't escape even if I want to. But what can I do? My world isn't fully mine. I'm not the one who built it either. It just happened to be mine after I was born.

I want to escape my world and go into someone else's world to see what is the difference. I know I'm not a simple child. I do not have powers, but there is something that made me different. I'm not special, just different.

And you see, I can't escape the world I am in.

"Strengthen your knees!"

He shouted and tapped my knee, making me fall on the floor. I fell hard but I didn't make a fuss about it and just closed my eyes, panting.

We were training since the morning with no break. It's already afternoon and I am already hungry and tired.

"Get up. You shouldn't do that in front of your opponent." I heard him say and before I could open my eyes I felt myself fly in the air and my back hit against the wall.

"Argh--!" I groaned when I felt something on my neck, making it hard for me to breathe and it f**king hurts!

"We aren't done fighting and you're resting? Hah, are you insulting me, Veeva?" I heard Severino's voice.

I opened my eyes as I reached for his elbow that was pushing my neck into the wall. His face doesn't look offended though, he's just messing around. Tsk.

He's really violent. How could he lay his hands to a kid like this?

"Hey, I'm---!" I let out a groan as he pushed his elbow further, making me feel the pain! Argh! This dude is killing me!

"What?" he asked. "If you want to stop the pain, you should take action for yourself. No one will take action for you," he said and pushed my neck furthermore.

This jerk!

I tried to pull myself together and punched him on his chin as strong as I could at the moment. He flew backwards, hands on his chin, on the floor, and feeling the pain.

Panting, I stood up and looked at him. "Stop this now, we're both tired from training for hours. Don't push ourselves further, hm?" I stated, exhausted.

He faced the ceiling and spread out his arms, closing his eyes, panting.

I sighed in relief. Finally... It's over.

I took a deep breath before taking a step but I heard him stand up that's why I immediately looked back and managed to blocked his attack. I managed to block it, yeah. But hell! He's still stronger! We were elbow to elbow and I am getting pushed back!

"Not too fast, Veeva. This is the last time we will fight in this room so I want to make it memorable to you," he smirked.

"Hah! Memorable by fighting for hours?!" I scoffed and crouched down when I felt my back hit the wall. I managed to get behind him and jumped on his back, riding.

"Veeva, that is not fighting!" he yelled, trying to get me down but I put my arms around his neck, choking him.

"I don't care anymore, Severino. I'm done," I said, emphasizing every word. "Yes, I'm good at fighting but I'm a human and I can be tired! I slept late last night because of Dad speaking with me over the phone! And this is not what I've imagined to be the last day of our practice in here!!" I shouted right in his ear.
