"Let's go, Vee! I'm so excited!" Mom pulled me slightly to walked fast as I was walking slowly because of my two luggage. One for me and one for Mom.

We were back at the Philippines for the summer vacation. Dad didn't go with us as he has a business trip in Paris, France.

"Welcome back, Madam!" Kuya Marcia greeted us when we went to our car. "Hello, Veeva," he waved at me with a smile, I just nodded and gave him a small smile.

Kuya Marcia—our family's driver and his family's the caretaker of our house when we're not home—took our luggages and slid it in the trunk of the car.

I sat on the backseat while Mom sat on the passenger seat, talking to Kuya Marcia.

I leaned on my seat and closed my eyes. I don't really get why seating for hours inside the airplane was tiring.

I just sighed and looked outside. Then my brows furrowed when I saw a billboard poster in a mall, our car stopped moving because of the traffic so I could see the poster clearly.

There were seven men in the poster and it was for a clothing brand. My brows furrowed when I saw a man familiar to me. He was at the center and he was wearing a black suit with a long gray coat on top of it.

And their group's name...

Invince...

Wait, did I read that right?

Pero umandar na ang sasakyan namin kaya 'di ko na makita pa kung mali ba ako.

Invince? Is there a word Invince? What's that? But it is somewhat familiar to me. Like I already heard it before. But...where?

"Hey, Vee..."

I felt a light tap on my shoulder and heard my Mom's voice.

I opened my eyes and saw Mom smiling, she squinched my cheeks lightly.

"We're already here. Wake up, my Vee... You're so cute!" she giggled before getting out of the car.

Kinusot ko muna ang mata mata ko bago kinuha ang carry-on luggage ko at bumaba.

"The children's already asleep?" I asked with a sleely voice when no one ran to me.

"Ah, oo. Gabi na rin, e. Pinatulog na sila ni Odelle," Kuya Marcia answered.

Ate Odelle's his wife. And they have two kids—Kin and Isla. Isla is the eldest.

When we got inside, I immediately bid my goodbye and grabbed my luggages. I went up to my room.

Kuya Marcia's family was occupying the two guest room and we have one more available.

I put down my luggages and went to my window to open it. Awtomatiko kong naipikit ang mga mata ko nang sumalubong sa akin ang malamig na hangin at isinayaw nito ang mahaba kong buhok.

Being back to this house also brought a lot of memories. Memories...that I'm still trying to bury deep down my heart.

"Ate Veeva!!"

The next day after I went downstairs, Kin and Isla ran to hugged me.

I laughed when Isla was already hugging me but Kin was slow because of his little feet. Isla wrapped her arms around my neck while joining me watch Kin slowly running—or should I say walking?—to me.

I chuckled and held his hand when he was already in my reach. He hugged my neck and kissed me in cheeks.

"Hello po, Ate Veeva..." he uttered with a smile.
