Ella's POV

I was in the Green Room with Michael. He put his arm around me and rubbed my arm as he squeezed. "Thanks," I smiled.

"'Are you nervous?" Michael asked.

"I didn't realize it was the Bop to the Top Tour," I stated. "I grew up with this music and shows."

"Now you get to host a couple shows with me," Michael nodded. The timer went off. "That's our cue."

"Yeah," I replied. He handed me a mic. "I'll see you out there." Michael nodded and left. The music played and I went to wait in the wing. "Okay." I took off my jacket. The lights went out. "Here we go."

"Can everyone still hear me?" Michael asked

"Can everyone still hear me?" Michael asked. "Looks like we're experiencing some technical difficulties." The lights flashed, and it was dark again. "Okay." I got onstage and waited for my cue. "I have a red button here that says press for emergency. Is this an emergency?"

"Yes!" the audience exclaimed.

"Here we go," Michael stated. He pressed the button. The lights flashed on and I started singing to the music. "Whoa!"

"Imagine having everything we ever dreamed," I sang. "Don't you want it?"

"Maybe," Michael sang.

"Can't you see it?" I sang. We went through the song. I smiled as Michael spun me around. "Woo!"

"Wow, Miss Ellasandra, everybody," Michael nodded. "If I'm not mistaken, I haven't seen that dress on you in 9 years?"

"That one didn't fit, so I had one made just like it to fit," I nodded. "But yeah, wow. That was so long ago."

"Yeah, it was," Michael sighed.

"Okay, so, backstory. This guy has been my best friend for 20 years. He had to drag me to my prom because I didn't want to go," I pointed. "I wore this dress to my prom. He wore a matching pink tie. What's funny is that I also won prom queen that night." We went through the whole 3 and a half hour concert. After the venue cleared out, we went to our hotel room. "Why did you offer to take me to prom anyways? Not that I didn't enjoy spending time with you. Just always wondered why."

"Your high school career should be memorable," Michael sat next to me. "I'll admit I wasn't the hottest date there, but I was with the most beautiful girl in school."

"You're only saying that because you're my best friend," I smiled.

"I'm saying it because it's true," Michael smiled. "We should get some sleep. We have an early flight to Chicago."

"Right," I nodded. Once we got to Chicago, we went to the House of Blues to set up. "I'm hungry. It's 9 in the morning and I need breakfast."

"Jeffery is on his way with some food," Michael nodded. Once we ate breakfast we ran through a simple sound check. "You guys sound amazing."
