Ella's POV
I was waiting for Jay so we can get to the gala. "Jay?" I called from the bottom of the stairs. "I can't be late."
"I got it," Jay walked down the stairs. He looked at me. "You look beautiful."
"And you're charming," I smiled. "Come on." We walked out to my garage and I pulled Jay to a lock box. I opened it. "Pick one."
"You can't be serious," Jay looked at all the keys. "Every single one of these is yours?"
"Yeah," I replied. "Now, pick a car." Jay did and it was my black Bugatti 2023 Divo. We got into my car and he drove us to the location of the gala. As we got valet, paparazzi took pictures of Jay and I. I smiled, but I knew Jay was a bit uncomfortable. We discreetly but quickly made our way inside. "Hey, are you okay?"
"I'm fine," Jay nodded. "If I have to remind you, I'm pretty good under pressure." I looked at him. "I wouldn't have become a cop if I didn't, and go undercover for cases."
"Sure," I smiled. I saw a group of my friends in the corner of the room. "I want you to meet some people." Jay followed me. "Hey, guys. So, this is Jay. Jay, this is Clark Kent, Oliver Queen, I call him Ollie. We also have Arthur Curry, but we just called him A.C., uhm, Victor Stone, and then we have Bart Allen." They all shook hands. "I haven't seen you guys in a while."
"You haven't been out to Metropolis for a while," Clark stated.
"I was there once," I looked at him. "I was on tour."
"Back on tour," Oliver nodded. "You ever thought about signing under Queen Industries? Instead of having to fly economy, you could always fly first class."
"I'll keep you in mind if I go back on tour," I smiled. "Jay, could you grab us a drink?"
"Yeah," Jay smiled. "I'll be back."
"Thanks," I stated. Jay left. "Okay, where are you guys here?" I looked at them. "It's not a coincidence you guys are here just because you were invited. You guys could be out saving the world, but you decided to come to a party." They sighed. "Why is the super gang here?"
