Michael's POV

Ella and I were laying in her bed, going through our memories together. "I missed times like this," I replied.

"What?" Ella asked.

"Just you and I hanging out," I stated as I sat up. I looked at the time. "We gotta start getting ready for your party."

"Don't remind me," Ella groaned. "Can we skip the party and say we were there?"

"No," I nodded. I got a box from one of the dresser drawers. "Happy birthday, Ella."

"I thought we agreed no gifts?"

"I saw this and I knew I had to get it for you," I replied. Ella smiled. She opened it. "Do you like it?"

"It's beautiful," Ella stated as she got out a champagne colored dress. "You didn't have to get me anything."

"I know, but I wanted to."

"I'll wear this for my party," Ella nodded.

"Okay, I'm going to head down and get the music going."

"You're DJ-ing?"

"We don't need a disaster," I replied.

"As long I get one dance with you," Ella pointed.

"Deal," I smiled. I went down to the party and got it started. Right at 2, on the dot, I saw the doors open and Ella walked in. I picked up the mic. "There is our birthday girl! Miss Ellasandra Tennyson!" Everyone cheered. I played the song she wanted to play after her entrance. It was All For One, from High School Musical 2. She got on the dance floor and started dancing. Monique, Lucas and Corbin joined her on the floor. "Looks like we have some of the original cast here with us!" After the song I let the music play. I met up with Ella. "You can dance."

"Well, I did join you on tour," Ella smiled

"Well, I did join you on tour," Ella smiled. "Gotta have some kind of dancing skill, right?"

"Unless you are like me and just jump up and down," I replied.

"I love a good performance," Ella nodded.

"You always do," I smiled. I let Ella go, to be with her friends. I went back up to the set up I had. "We are doing good on time."

"You like her," Monique walked up to me.

"Who, Ella?" I asked. "Yeah, she's my best friend."

"No, you want her to be yours again," Monique pointed.

"What?" I chuckled. "No, Ella and I are strictly just friends."

"Just friends don't buy each other nice dresses," Monique stated. "Nor do they wanna spend every single moment together."

"Did I mention were best friends?"

"I suggest you ask the girl before she finds someone else," Monique replied. "And since you are her best friend, you'll be hearing all about it."
