Noel's POV:

I pack some of my clothes into my duffel bag with an extra pair of everything in a just in case situation and zipped it up.

I double check if I got everything. Wallet check, credit card check, money check, phone check, charger check, toothbrush check, deodorant check, cologne/perfume check, make up/hair products bag, toothpaste check, mouthwash check, shampoo and conditioner check, condoms check.

The condoms are just in case we take the next step in our relationship. Not that I'm hoping we do something. I'll go at her pace for however long she wants to. Plus I always take condoms on vacations

I pick up my duffel bag and sling on my shoulder before walking out of my apartment then locked my door.

I head down the stairs when my phone rings. "Hello, Noel speaking," I say once I answered and held my phone to my ear.

"Hey, Noel. It's Beth. I was wondering if you give me a lift home? My ride ditched me and I have no way home besides walkin but it's soo hot," she asks making me chuckle and push open the entrance door to my apartment building.

"Yeah, of course. I was heading to your house anyways. I'll be there in five minutes, ok?" I answer her tossing my bag into my backseat before climbing into my truck.

I stick my key in and twist, turning on my truck. "Awesome! Thanks, Noel. You're the best!," she exclaims happily and I smile to myself at that.

"No problem, kid. I'll see you soon. Bye," I softly say and she says goodbye before I hang up the phone and set it on the phone holder I installed on my dashboard then turned on the ac.

I put on my RayBan glasses before backing out of my reserved parking spot and shifted gears to drive towards Beth's school.

This wouldn't be the first time Beth asked me for a ride. Although this is the first time she asked me for a ride home. It's mostly for a ride to school in the mornings.

I turn down the main road and catch Beth talking to a few of her friends I think on the sidewalk. I pull over right in front of them while rolling down my passenger window.

"Did someone order a ride home," I joke smiling at Beth who shakes her head with a giggle and says goodbye to her friends before climbing into my truck.

"You're sister's girlfriend is hot," one of her friends stage whispers to Beth who facepalms and pushed her friend's head out of the window.

I smile to myself and wait for the others to say goodbye to Beth before I drive off towards her home. "Thanks again, Noel. My friend was supposed to give me a ride but she had to leave early," she says explaining and I wave her off with a smile.

"Don't worry about it, Beth. If you ever need a ride to or from school I'll gladly do it as long as I don't have work," I softly respond flicking the turning switch and wait for the light to turn green.

From the corner of my eye I see her leaning over and she plants a small kiss on my cheek making me blush slight while giving her a small smile.

"Thanks, Noel. You're such a gentlewoman unlike Jessie. He was a donkey and made me uncomfortable," she tells me and I grin at her in amusement before turning down the street.

"He was a jackass. I'm sorry he made you uncomfortable, Beth. I promise I won't ever make you uncomfortable like he did," I softly tell her and use the palm of my hand to turn down the dirt road of the Greene farm.

"I know you won't, Noel. Because my father really enjoys your company so the family and I know you're a good woman for Maggie," Beth informs me and I smile proudly to myself.
