Noel's POV:

I park in front of the donut shop and got out of my truck then walked in. "Hello, ma'am. What can I get you today?" The worker politely asks with a smile and I give him one back.

"Hello, I would like a dozen donuts please," I answer softly and point at the ones I want. Hopefully these are enough for all of us.

Last time I bought some for work Joshua ate at least six of them in the break room. After he got the ones I move to the side and open the small fridge, grabbing a bottle chocolate milk.

I head back to the counter and set the bottle down next to the pink box. The man rang it all up. "You're total is $13.45, ma'am," he says and I nod while pulling out my wallet to take out a 20 dollar bill out then handed it over to him.

He takes it then hands me back the correct change that I shove in my pocket. "Thank you," I tell him and pick up my items then walked out of the store and into my truck.

I turn on my truck and backed out of the parking space then emerged onto the road and started the small drive to the Greene farm while drinking my chocolate milk.

Maggie Greene to me is the definition of a nice and beautiful woman. I look through my rear view mirror finding Joshua following me with his car.

From the smile on his face let's me know his date went well for him. I chuckle to myself and park in front of the Greene house then turned off my truck and climbed out with the donut box.

"Hey we had the same thought," Joshua exclaims as he climbs out of his car with a similar pink box. I chuckle with a nod.

"I guess we did, kid. Come on," I say chuckling and gesture with my head towards the Greene's front door.

He grins and meets me in the middle as we walk up the steps of the house. "You seem in a very good mood today. Wonder why, hm?" I quip with a smirk as his cheeks get red.

"Y-yeah. My date went well last night. What about you? What's got you in a good mood today?" He responds and asks raising an eyebrow at me still blushing.

I open my mouth to reply but the door opens making our attention get drawn towards the person who opened it.

"Good morning, guys. Come on in," Beth politely says making the two of walk in as she moves back to let us through.

"Mornin. Uh it seems Josh and I had the same idea so we all have plenty of donuts to choose from," I respond chuckling raising the box up making Josh do the same.

Beth giggles with a nod and gestures for us to follow her towards the kitchen. There we find the whole Greene family with Otis and Patricia drinking coffee or eating cereal.

"Daddy, Noel and Joshua are here. And they brought donuts," Beth happily announces as we walk in fully.

I smile at all of them and set the pink box on the table making Joshua do the same. "I guess the kid and I had the same thought process when we came. So we all have plenty of donuts," I spoke up in a soft happy tone.

They all chuckle and open the boxes. I pick out a glazed one and my eyes get drawn to Maggie who has a cowgirl hat on.

She looks absolutely breathtaking in anything she wears. She looks up and our eyes connect making her cheeks darken slightly.

"You look beautiful," I tell her and push a strand of her hair out of her face to put it behind her ear. Maggie smiles shyly up at me and thanks me quietly.

"Thank you, Noel," she says leaning up pecking my lips softly and I smile softly at her feeling my lips get tingly.

A loud gasp made me look back finding a very funny sight. Joshua has his mouth hanging open with his eyes wide in disbelief.
