As both Brooklyn and Robby were put in the cop car due to them only expecting to arrest Robby, the two teens talked together in slightly hushed voices.
"Why didn't you run?" Robby questioned Brooklyn, who now had dry tear tracks down her face, "You could've got away before they realised who you were!"
"I couldn't just leave you there!" she replied indignantly, "Besides, I would've been caught sooner or later and this way we will have each other."
"I guess so." he said letting go of his angry exterior as he brought his hands up to wipe her tear tracks away, as best as he could with them in handcuffs. "I'm really sorry."
"What for? It's not your fault that you were dobbed in by people you trusted." she told him, knowing just how shit he felt about being stabbed in the back like that due to her mother doing the same thing all the time, yet somehow it still hurt just as bad, even when she expected it.
"Any way, there's no one I'd rather be in Juvie with than you, Robby." she joked as a way to try to lighten the mood, and it worked as Robby laughed.
"Same here Brook" he replied, no longer laughing but with a smile on his face and that was enough for Brook.
"Hey, at least it wasn't that Sam girl that betrayed you, right?" she asked, despite the pang of jealousy and hurt that it caused her.
"Nah, she's already betrayed me enough." he said, "As much as I like her, I just don't think I can forgive her." And even though she felt bad for Robby, she couldn't help but feel happy at his words.
"You do what's best for you." Brooklyn replied.
"Besides, I've got my eye on someone else." Robby replied, staring into Brook's eyes as he said it.
"Really, well Mr. Keene I wish you good luck with this nice mystery girl." she said smirking as she stared right back.
"Oh give over Miss Davis, you know who I'm talking about." he stated rather cockily, holding her hand as best as he could.
"I'm sure I don't know who you're alluding to, maybe you should ask her properly." Brooklyn said, grinning cheekily.
"Miss. Brooklyn Davis, will you go out with me?" Robby asked, stifling his laugh.
"Mr. Robby Keene, I will." Brook replied, failing to contain her laughter, "But we're both in Juvie."
"Well, I guess we'll have to be Juvenile lovers" he laughed out, with a cheeky grin on his face.
"I like the sound of it." she said, smiling that sunshine smile that Robby had grown to love. Without hesitation, Robby leaned in and kissed Brooklyn on the lips. But the officer saw and shouted at them, so they broke away and sat there laughing with their hands still entwined.
Not long after, they were at the station for an interview before Juvie so they were split off into different cells, but Brook wasn't bothered as she sat smiling to herself touching her lips where Robby's had been a few minutes ago. She felt like a giggly school girl, but she didn't let her smile drop, even when she was called in for her interview.
