Oogway calmly walked up the stairs towards the Sacred Peach Tree of Heavenly Wisdom. He had sensed a strong presence there and intended to investigate. He smiled when he saw a head of black and white hair, sitting on the ledge the peach tree rested on, eating a peach from said tree.

"Welcome back, Dragon Warrior. I see you have found the Sacred Peach Tree of Heavenly Wisdom.", Oogway greeted cheerfully. The girl had chosen to save them all just yesterday slowly turned around, a bite of the peach still in her mouth.

"Oh right, these are Heavenly Wisdom peaches... It's not like, sacreligious to eat these, is it?", she asked. Oogway chuckled.

"No, it is not.", he told her. The green eyed girl swallowed and sighed in relief.

"Oh thank God.", she breathed. Oogway smiled at her and walked up to sit beside her, setting his red paper lantern down beside him.

"I think I understand. You eat when you are upset.", the elderly man observed. The pale girl snorted.

"Who doesn't? But I'm not upset. At least, not anymore.", she said. Oogway nodded.

"Shifu told me what happened.", he told her. The black and white haired girl looked at him and raised an eyebrow.

"Oh, so he told you he tried to cane me with a piece of bamboo, and then I stopped him and roasted his ass?", she said. Oogway blinked at her in bewilderment.

"In not so few words, yes. You have him worried.", he told her. The girl snorted again.

"Yeah well, he should have thought about someone's feelings other than his own before he started mouthing off.", she said saltily. Oogway nodded.

"That he should have. If I may ask, why have you returned? You have every right to flee after how you were treated.", the old kung fu master inquired. The girl took another bite of the peach in her hand and then answered him.

"I came back because even if Shifu and the Five hate me, even if no one thinks I should have my title, I am the Dragon Warrior. I am worthy of that title, no matter what anyone else has to say. 'There are no accidents', right?", the black and white haired girl explained. Oogway looked at her in surprise when she shot his own words at him, but resumed smiling very quickly.

"You are very wise for your young age. You are right, there are no accidents. But that begs the question; if you are the Dragon Warrior, what will you do now that you've acquired that title?", the old man asked curiously. Jade gained a determined look.

"Well, for starters, learn kung fu. Then deal with Tai-lung.", she told him. Oogway looked at her in shock.

"So you are aware that he has escaped.", he stated seriously. Jade nodded.

"Yeah, that's another reason why I'm here. Whether Shifu and the others want to admit it or not, I'm needed. They'll need me to take him down.", she answered. Oogway nodded but looked at her in confusion.

"How are you aware he has escaped? No one except I, Shifu, several guards who are miles from here and the messenger who told us the news know should anything about his escape yet.", the old, turtle-like man asked. Jade gave him a small smile. She didn't want to lie to him, but she couldn't tell him the whole truth.

"Let's just say I know a few things, maybe even things that even you don't know.", the girl said cryptically. Oogway looked at her in pleasant surprise.

"Oh? Is that so?", he asked. Jade nodded and looked to the heavens. The stars were beautiful, much brighter than the ones back home.

"Yep, but I can't say what they are. Spoilers.", she said with a wink. Oogway nodded.
