I woke up with my face smushed into Steve's chest and he was holding me against him, it felt pretty nice. I was definitely going to get a stiff neck from the way I'd been laying on him so I rolled away from him and lay on my side, though my movement woke Steve up and he rolled over as well, spooning me super tight. He started kissing my shoulder and his hand slowly moved down my arm before he suddenly got out of bed and headed into the ensuite. I heard the shower running and I rolled onto my back to take a deep breath, last night had gotten completely out of hand as far as unexpected make out sessions go.

We made out so long that my jaw had started aching, we were like a pair of teenagers and I'd lost count of the amount of times he'd accidentally jabbed me with that beast between his legs. That's all it was though, just making out. There was no touching of any areas you'd have thought would have been touched and to be honest, I liked that about him. I don't think I'd have wanted him to last night, I think the excitement of not seeing each other for nearly four month was probably the major reason for all the kissing and I'd bet anything that it wouldn't be as intense today. Steve came out of the ensuite and I sat up, he was just wrapped in a towel and he sat on the bed and smiled at me, making me smirk.

"What?"

"You wanna talk about last night?" He scooted towards me and I shook my head, I didn't know what to say to him. "No?"

"We should just focus on enjoying today."

"Does that mean forget about last night, or--" He suddenly leaned in and kissed me and I hadn't been expecting him to be so forward this morning, I don't know why. I was a little surprised when he started pushing me back down on the bed and I had to laugh, it made me push him away. "What's so funny?"

"You should go and get dressed, Steve."

"So you don't want to talk about it then?" He narrowed his eyes at me for a moment. "Am I reading this wrong? Should I--"

"No, I definitely think we should talk. Just not right this second whilst you're pretty much naked, it's very distracting." I smirked as his hand automatically gripped the towel in case he was frightened it was going to fall open and he exposed himself to me. "Don't worry, you're good."

"How about we talk about it tonight? We can just put all the cards on the table and go from there? I know me coming back has changed the dynamics of everything and I'm betting you're just as confused as I am." He made sense.

"Yeah, a little." I nodded. "Yeah, that sounds good."

"Great." He nodded. "Well, I'm gonna go and get dressed so I'll leave you to do whatever it is you want to do and--Actually, let me get get dressed and I'll head down and get us some coffee and cinnamon swirls. I feel like it was ruined by Nick last time, so let me go get those and then we can hang? I guess?" He started laughing and I could see he was feeling a little awkward, but he looked kinda cute so it was fine with me.

"Sure, I'd like that." My brain suddenly threw a curve ball at our plans. "Shit! No, I can't. I promised Carla that I'd go to this antique place today. I probably wont get back until six or seven but we can talk then?"

"Yeah, I guess I'll make dinner for you coming back, well, I'll try. I'm not the best cook." He leaned over and gave me a peck on the lips before he stood up and started heading out of the bedroom. He had such a good body and I wanted to climb him like a tree, I wanted to pull his towel off and see if he had a cute ass too but I decided to continue being a mature adult and ignored my skank of a brain for a hot minute and I got out of bed to get ready.
