Some thoughts on the story: I have recently finished reading this story so it's actually still fresh on my mind. One of the few Non-Teen fiction stories that would be included in this recommended list. And most of them would probably be from this amazing author. I have already read four completed stories from hmmcghee, and is currently trying to finish another one. So what does that make me? An obsessed one, really. No, seriously. I don't know why I love her stories so much. I just do.
And Love Untold is definitely my favorite. It is a very heartwarming beautiful story. It is wonderfully written. It has love, humor and family in it. Just the way I like it. It's funny and sweet. It has unexpected twist. By reading the description, some of you might think of the movie "The Vow" because of the amnesia-thing. But I can assure you that it is not like that AT ALL. Miss author has a big twist up her sleeve. A what-the-h***-kind-of twist. Like I said, it was very unexpected but I should have probably guessed it just by looking at the cover and reading the description. But I didn't. Maybe, I was just so hooked by the story that it totally blew me by surprise. Urgh! (Oops! Ok, I'll stop there. I don't want to spoil the story.) I love her writing. Its like it is written by a professional. She should publish this already. And it would make a great movie as well. I love each of her characters. Dena is awesome. Dolly is is too cute for wanting to have grandchildren already even though there's this slight problem between Chrissie and her husband. lol. Chrissie is hilarious. Race is so sweet. Chrissie and Race are so adorable together. After reading this, I can't help but wish for my own Race. Having someone to love you like that? Hold you like that? Spoil you like that? *sigh*. This story will make you believe in love all over again. A definite must read for those hopelessly romantic people like me.^^
And Chris Pine being in the cast is an added bonus.^^
Just a little warning though. For those who are under 18 or whose not comfortable with adult based stories, her stories are mostly for adults so there will be things that would not be appropriate for you. But this one has minimal scenes like that so it would be safe to say that you can read it.^^
