Never Thought It Would Happen

Chapter 10

Two days later...

Sandra's POV
Yes! Cleo, Ravi and I are finally allowed to go out of the house again. Turns out, when we got home from the club and told Aunt Mildred about what happened, she kinda got mad and grounded us.

We then arrived home. We thanked Devon and say goodbye to our friends and we then enter the house. Ravi sat on one of the living room's sofa, Cleo entered the bathroom and I went to the kitchen to get an icebag. I then gave the icebag to Ravi.

"Here. Take this, idiot. Don't ever do that again." I said.

"I only did that because he tried to hurt Roxy and he is being annoying." Ravi said.

But still, you are being immature and irresponsible. You know that these ranger powers of yours are only to be used in real battle against the dark forces." I said.

"I hate to agree on what Sandra just said because what you did on Ralph earlier serves him right for being such a self-absorb person but my bestie is right. Zordon did mention to never use your abilities for personal gain. That's right. I did read the ranger history." Cleo said as she came out of the bathroom.

Just then Aunt Mildred went downstairs. "Oh, all of you are already here." She said as she noticed Ravi's face. "What happened? Tell me what happened now." She said as Ravi began telling her the truth.

"You did what?! I cant believe you did this, Ravi. I expected more from you. What if you accidentally use your gorilla strength and sent the boy to the hospital or worse risked the Power Ranger's secret identities. And also I cant believe you did not tell me about this ex-boyfriend of yours, Cassandra. You're all grounded for two days because I am sure your still have something to do outside, so two days this whole weekend. This includes you too, Cleo, since you live in our home and that means you also follow the rules here." Aunt Mildred said.

"Yes, Mrs. Shaw." Cleo said.

"I'm sorry, Mom. It wont happen again. " Ravi said.

"It better be because if that happens again, I'll have Blaze replace you as a Blue Ranger. I dont know if that's even possible." My aunt said.

"I'm sorry too, Aunt Mildred. I am sorry for not telling you about Ralph. I just dont want to trouble you more. You know about Evox and all. I did not also tell Mom, cause she is always busy thats the reason why only Ravi and Cleo knows because I told them about it. Now the rest of my new friends also knows. Believe I wanted to tell you about him after Evox was defeated but when I saw you taking a break from the world's noises, I decided to keep my sappiness out of your peaceful life now." I explained.

"It's okay, Cassandra. I understand but I'm never tired hearing your sappiness if you ever need me. You need an adult that has experienced more of this life to guide you. You are my only niece so if you ever feel like you need an adult's help just call me. Understood?" My aunt said.

"Yes, Aunt Mildred." I said.

Today, I'm heading to the Kung-Fugitive set to work. Its a good thing that 2 days of my grounding dont have work. I'm free from getting fired by the director. After I did all my scenes for today, Steel pulled me to the corner of the set.

"I wanted to ask you about something. Is that okay?" Steel asked as I just nod.

"I've been thinking about it since we both know we have feelings for each other and I wanted it to become official. So Cassandra Gale, will you be my girlfriend?" Steel said.

"Sure. Of course. I would love to, Steel Silva." I said.

"Then that means, you are going with me to the movies tonight." Steel said.

"Yeah." I simply said.

"Great. It's a date then." Steel added.

We both then lean in and we kissed and it was magical. I really did feel the spark. Just then I heard someone clear their throat and I saw it was Cleo who did it. I also saw the rest of my friends are also there including my cousin.

"You all saw that, didn't you?" I asked.

"Well, it wasnt that bad but congratulations, bestie." Cleo said.

"Thanks, Cleo." I said.

"Congrats, bro. You've got the girl you always wanted." Nate said.

"Thanks, bro." Steel said.

"I'm happy for you, Sandra." Ravi said.

"Congratulations you two." Roxy said.

"Yeah, congrats you two." Zoey said.

"I'm happy for you two " Nyx said.

"Congratulations. Happy for you two." Devon said.

"Yeah. Congratulations, Sandra and Steel. Cleo and I also have some news for you, guys." Blaze said

"Blaze and I are also official." Cleo said as they intertwined their hands.

"What?! When?" I said.

"The night of the club." Blaze said.

"I knew it." Roxy said.

"How did you know?" Nyx asked.

"It was kinda obvious to me and also I saw them holding each other's hand at the backseat of the van when we are all going home from the club." Roxy replied.

"But how come you didn't tell us, Blaze and Cleo?" Zoey asked.

"We did want to tell you guys but after what happened with Ralph, we knew it wasnt the right time so we keep it to ourselves, and also I got grounded. That's the reason we only got to tell you now about us." Cleo explained.

"Well, then congratulations to you two." I said.

The rest of us then congratulated Blaze and Cleo about being together now. This day just keeps getting better. I truly thanked God that I met these kinds of friends. I'm really happy for my bestie, Cleo and her boyfriend, Blaze. They deserve each other. I am also happy that  I also get to experience this friendship that I am sure will last long. I am so grateful to the Lord for giving me this people to my life especially Steel Silva. Without them, I don't know where will I be.
