Years ago..... when they still in the genin days...

Hinata is looking around using her Byakugan that she had activated as she is looking for her sensei along with Kiba and Shino.

She finds her sensei but she poofs into a smoke, meaning it was a fake Kurenai, which Kiba said in a frustrated tone, "Darn It! She disappeared!".

Shino stayed quiet and also frustrated not even his Insects could find her however he is amused that Hinata's new personality that used to be shy but is now confident.

He wonder what made her this confident but the only thing he could remember that Kiba told him that Hinata went to the library.

[Later]

Everyone is exhausted on what they were doing looking for Kurenai Sensei.

But Hinata stopped being tired after taking a few breaths and drinking water, given by Shino and she asked Kurenai Sensei to teach her.

She is surprised that Hinata is this confident young lady, she is proud of her that she has changed which is a good thing.

However Hinata is still weak and timid and needs to train herself harder and bring out her own self worth.

Knowing that she is already a failure because of her father but that didn't stop her as she wants to help her clan from the suppression of the upper branch.

She is not the hopeless girl, she used to be anymore and wants to be seen as someone else or be herself to grow more then being just a weakling.

When they were on a mission.

Hinata is frightened as it was her first time fighting bandits which she nearly got stabbed by weapons.

Shino used his insect to swarm the bandits for distraction.

While Kiba the front liner is attacking them in every direction with Akamaru.

However Kiba was injured as he was stabbed in the shoulder by a Katana.

And Hinata then is shocked as she sees Kiba injured in battle which leads her to fight like a front liner like Kiba, she was not gonna let Kiba get hurt any further and charged at them.

She stood up with her legs slightly wiggling from being attacked and she activated her Byakugan and looked for any weaknesses.

Kurenai on the other hand is attacking with her illusions letting them see a horrifying scene in which some bandits scream in pain.

And Hinata had acupressure the bodies of the bandits which led them to enable them to use chakra and it was useless for them to continue fighting.

Kiba is then pulled away by Shino away from the battle as Akumaru was growling at the enemies who were trying to harm them and Hinata used shadow clone to make the bandits get confused on which is the real one.

Hinata was able to block their chakra points with precision and knock out the bandits in which Kurenai used a kunai to slit their throats as blood gushed out.

Her illusions had confused the enemies.

They defeated the bandits and the remaining bandits were being attached with insects to suck their chakra and let Kurenai do the other things with them.

Back up was called and Kiba was healed by the medic nin's, who came to the scene.

Hinata smiled and is glad that Kiba is alright and clenched her hand on her chest as this was the first fight they had.

It was terrifying as Hinata thought that Kiba would die from them and she would be heartbroken, if she lost a teammate on there mission.

Back at Konoha...

With Kiba, who has been checked to the hospital medics and Hinata is with him which he was ecstatic because the girl he liked was with him, even though he nearly died.

He would say many different things which Hinata finds funny as she giggles and smiles genuinely without being shy.

As Kiba blushed when Hinata did the laughter of a beautiful girl that won his heart and smile on her face which he likes to see Hinata happy.
