After the chat that Ivan had with Dimitri, Kat and Ivan went to dinner.

"What's up bitches," Ivan yelled as he stepped into the house.

"Good evening, Asshole," Lev yelled back.

"You guys are lucky that Priscilla and Dad aren't here," Alberta chastised her younger siblings.

"You don't have to be such a spoil sport Alberta," Ivan complained.

"I'm only stating facts. Are you usually allowed to use that sort of language?"

"No," Lev mumbled.

"Where are mom and dad?" Kat questioned.

"They went to go get more wine. Dad dropped the bottle while he was cooking." Alberta explained to her sister.

"The number of times that this has happened isn't even funny anymore. We should just have extra bottles." Both women laughed at Kat's statement.

"Can I talk to you about something?" Kat asked Alberta.

"Of course."

"I think I'm going crazy."

"What do you mean?"

"I've been hearing voices and when I try to sleep I can't. I exchange views with someone else. Last night, I saw whatever this person was seeing."

"You're not going crazy Peanut," Ivan budded into the sisters' conversation.

"This is a private conversation, Ivan."

"I know, but you guys weren't exactly quiet." Ivan gave Kat a look.

"Fine," Kat said annoyed. "Do you have an answer then Einstein?"

"Who's Einstein?"

"He was a human inventor. He invented the light bulb. He also had an IQ of 160. He was a genius."

"Thank you for the compliment."

"I was being sarcastic."

"Anyway... I do have an answer. It's called a soulmate connection."

"A what?"

"A soulmate connection. It's very rare. It means that people that are soulmates, can hear each other's thoughts. If the connection is still new, you only hear thoughts directed at you."

"And what about the seeing thing?"

"In certain time, soulmates can look through their soulmate's eyes. It sounds like that's what happened to you Peanut."

"How do you know all this?"

"You aren't the only one that reads," Ivan said sheepishly.

"How do I find out who my soulmate is?"

"When you see through their eyes, find out more about them."

"Or if you hear their thoughts, try to find out who it is," Alberta gave her opinion.

"We're home Kiddos," Priscilla yelled as she and Ivan came into the house. Alberta's words had made Kat's mind wonder. Kat had already heard someone's thoughts, and she had her suspicions about who it was.

"What are we eating?"

"Lasagna!" Priscilla said excitedly. All four kids gave words of excitement. Even though the Moroi didn't need regular food to survive, they still enjoyed to indulge in normal food. The Voda kids' favourite food was lasagna.

"I'll set the table," Kat volunteered just so that she could have a few moments alone to think about the news that her brother shared. She left to the dining room and she didn't hear Alberta following her. As she started setting the table Alberta spoke. "Do you know who it is?"
