Dora had to cover up her crime, considering the fact that she had just murdered Al Capone. It was a good decision overall, though. He was her main competition in the drug world, and now she could be at the top.
Though, she was struggling to figure out a way to hide the evidence. She had repeatedly asked the Map and Backpack what to do, but they weren't helpful at all. They just keep screaming nonsense about how she was a horrible person for killing someone.
So, of course, she threw both of them into a lake.
They ended up drowning, but who needed them anyways, right?
As a last resort, Dora decided to call Boots. She explained the story to him first, then sighed and sat down onto a rock.
"What should I do, Boots?" She asked.
He took a breath, terrified that he was about the suggest this. "Dora, you know how I don't like the dies of crime, but..."
Dora immediately perked up. "But?"
"If it helps hide the evidence, I'll commit mass arson for you." He sighed.
"Really, Boots? Thank you, thank you, thank you! You're really saving my ass over here!"
"Yeah yeah, I get it," he grumbled. "Now shut up and give me the address so I can burn it to the ground."
By the time morning rolled around, the entire block the murder had taken place on was covered in kerosene and burned to the to the ground. No one knew who had done it, which is how Boots knew he had done the job well.
He hated to admit this, but he was actually pretty proud of his work.
