Damien's POV
"Come in," she said coldly, and the person entered. Unfortunately, it was my secretary, with whom I had been involved several times.
Hannah's eyes widened in recognition, and she glared at my secretary, hatred in her dark eyes. The secretary took one look at her and backed away, terrified. Hannah then turned to me, still glaring viciously.
"This is the plastic blonde bitch who I said insulted me," she told me venomously.
"Sir, this is the document you asked for," my secretary said.
"Give it to my wife," I replied, watching the color drain from her face. She nervously approached Hannah and handed her the document.
Hannah opened it and examined it closely. I didn't think she would understand anything, but she surprised me.
"Mr. Crowd Henry signed a fake deal," she said. I rushed over to where she was sitting. This deal was crucial.
"How did you know?" I asked.
"Because the deal was signed with his left hand when he favors his right hand," she explained. "Look at how he held the paper. You can tell by this part of the document he squeezed. And there is a slight difference from his usual signature. It seems he's planning to back out of the deal later. You need to proceed with caution."
"Wow, you're really amazing at this," I said quickly, feeling proud.
"Thank you."
"Now, can you tell me the reason you changed your codes?" she asked. I had completely forgotten what I was going to tell her.
"Hmm, I forgot the codes," I replied. She looked at me with a skeptical expression.
"Are you sure?" she finally responded, raising an eyebrow.
"Yeah," I replied. "Can you tell me the codes?" She let out a sigh, clearly exhausted.
"I want to go home. I'm so tired from having to deal with that blonde bitch," she muttered, looking adorable.
I mentally kicked myself. Why did I think she looked adorable? Get a grip, Damien.
"Hello! I'm still here!" she yelled, snapping her fingers in front of my face.
I quickly snapped back to reality with a sheepish look and cleared my throat.
"Okay, so the code is...." I began to say only to trail off when someone suddenly barged into my office.
Recognizing the intruder, my face turned red with anger.
"What the hell?!" I exclaimed.
It was Cady, my former fling.
"Hey, honey, I missed you," she said in a high-pitched voice.
Cady wore her usual skanky red dress and heels and had her blonde hair in stylish curls down her back. Her red lips curved up into what she thought was a seductive smile.
Seeing her, Hannah rolled her eyes in annoyance.
"Damien, who's this Barbie doll?" she remarked snarkily.
I felt the urge to kiss Hannah passionately as I watched her lips move. Just as I was about to act on my desires, I stopped and shook my head.
What's wrong with me? Focus, Damien, focus!
After clearing my head, I introduced the two.
"Hannah, that's my old girlfriend, Cady. And Cady, this is my wife, Hannah Spike-Sebastian."
