chapter Nineteen the rescue of Joroto

They suddenly woken up to a desperate call of distress they both quickly got dressed, ate breakfast then headed out to rescue the poor soul the poor little baby sounded scared yonkter said I know I get distress calls from all over the place so you don't know whare your going to go or situation they'll be in Peter said.

Yeah I hope we get there in time to save the poor guy yonkter said it's very important to respond right away cause if you don't it may be too late he said when they finally reached the town there were bombs falling from everywhere, buildings were collapsing and fires breaking out.

So when they finally made it to the poor child's house they hovered close to the open window and watched then yonkter was almost brought to tears as the poor child cried more desperately and started calling out for Peter Peter he's crying for you yonkter said.

I know come on i think we've watched enough he said then they made their way inside the boy's room and lightly landed on the floor then Peter went over to the little boy's bed and gently stroked his shoulder I'm here little one don't worry Peter said comfortingly.

The boy then sat up and tried to show a smile when he saw Peter by his side then Peter gestures for yonkter to come over and yonkter gently made her way over to his side hi little one I'm yonkter she said gently that's a pretty name the boy said why thank you sweetheart she said gently.

What's your name? Peter asked the boy suddenly looked down and began to cry again hey it's okay yonkter said gently stroking his arm a lot of the boys or sometimes girls i rescue don't like their real names so they always get the option to change it Peter said okay yonkter said.

I don't want to say it the boy said it's okay you can change it to a name you like yonkter said well I always wanted my name to be Joroto the boy said well that's a beautiful name i think it sounds perfect Peter said thank you Joroto said shaking cone on let's get you out of here yonkter said yeah let's go home peter said cradling Joroto in his arms.

They all made it out of the window and away from Joroto's house before a bomb crashed right through the roof then a few hours later they arrived back in neverland yonkter brought Joroto to Wendy while Peter went back to their bunk to grab them a snack as yonkter made her way into the hideout all the lost boys were jumping on pillows and soft beds but yonkter wasn't there to play.

She had someone important to take care of as always she found Wendy on the sewing bench hello Wendy I've got a new rescue here it's alright Joroto your safe now yonkter said comfortingly Wendy stood and gently stroked Joroto's cheek then she smiled hi Joroto don't worry I'll take good care of you you'll be so happy here Wendy whispered as she gently cradled Joroto in her arms.

Alright well I'll see you tomorrow to check up on him yonkter said as she walked to the door yeah sounds good to me Wendy said okay yonkter said then she made her way out of the hideout and back to her bunk when she got there Peter was already sitting at the tree table with cabrenia.

How'd it go? Peter asked great Joroto's in perfect hands now I'm sure he'll be making friends in no time yonkter said as she sat down well that's great Peter said yeah I'm very glad we're rescuing lost boys and girls if we get lucky yonkter said yeah me too Peter said.

A few minutes after they finished dinner they cleaned up then got ready for bed yonkter changed and straightened her hammock while Peter tucked in cabrenia a little while later Peter returned, changed into his pj's and tucked her in then kissed her goodnight he then went into his hammock and tucked himself in then soon fell asleep everyone dreamed of the new adventures waiting for them.
