Zodiac Academy: Opposites Attract

Chapter One

It's a lovely Spring morning in Seiza, Japan. The sun has risen the birds are singing, all is peaceful in this town, now if we take a look at Seiza's pride and joy, Zodiac Academy. It's the first day back to school after break. the sunlight catches the blossom's of the Sakura trees waving in the wind making the Zodiac Academy High School seem pink and calm, the students inside could disagree.

7:15- "Where is she?!" Pisces says frantically, pacing back and forth. All of the others have arrived already waiting for classes to start at 7:30 but one blue headed pip squeak was missing from the rest. She's gotta be here today! She'll show up! Yes that's is, she'll be here I'm sure of it! Pisces thought as he stopped pacing and stared at the door waiting for his friend.

"Pisces calm down, Aquarius will be here shortly. Classes don't start for another 15 minutes." Virgo, a smart friend of Pisces, said while looking up from her planning sheets. "If you want to keep yourself occupied while we wait you can help me and Aries plan the 'Back to School' spring events." She said with a smile while tightening the bow holding her pink hair up. "Or you can take some selfies with me Pi!" Aries, a total pinkette, said taking out her phone. Pisces smiled and started to help Virgo with ideas and took photos with Aries.

Leo looked around the classroom while he stood at the front near his desk by the door while Capricorn and Ini debated next to him. Taurus was flirting with Scorpio and her friends, Libra and Cancer, giggled while Scorpio sat there smiling uncomfortably at Taurus. Aw shit what do I say? Taurus is a good friend and all but really? he has to talk and compare me to food?! Scorpio thinks as she sends a look at her friends saying 'help me' only ending up making the two girls next to her giggle harder. One final word hits Scorpio's mind Fuck...

Leo looks around the classroom and smirks at the short blue headed girl walking into the classroom half asleep carrying a pillow in her arms. "What's this shorty? Preparing to have a sleep over at the school?" Leo laughed at his own joke and Taurus walked over hearing Leo and wanted to join in the fun. "Hey shorty your girlfriend was freaking out over you earlier." Taurus says as her smirks and gestures towards Pisces. Aquarius walked by with a mellow expression and simply said, "says the person that's gonna end up marrying his fridge." Taurus glared at Aquarius and then turned to Leo. Leo simply laughed and said loudly to Taurus, "Don't worry T, you can beat her on the field later, poor little Aquarius the worst player on the baseball team, and so easy to beat." While Leo finishes saying that he shakes his head in a sympathetic way holding back his laughter. Aquarius hears this and upon approaching her desk in the back next to Virgo's and Pisces, she doesn't stop but calls behind her and says, "Yup, you keep telling yourself that Lion." Leo only glares and sits down in his desk in a humph.

Pisces hears his friend and springs up and hugs her with waterfalls coming from his eyes. "Aqua! I haven't seen you in so long I missed you!" Pisces cries dramatically holding Aquarius tightly, Aries and Virgo laugh and whispers to each other things like 'typical Pisces' and 'dramatic as always', Pisces hears them but ignores them. Aquarius sighs and smiles, "Pisces what are you talking about? The four of us were just at the mall together yesterday" The tired bluenette replied. The green/gray haired boy let Aquarius go and turned slightly and placed the back of his hand to his forehead, "that is still a long time!" Pisces says. Aquarius smiles and shakes her head and waves to Gem in the back of the room sitting on her desk going through her play list. Gem smiles and waves back at Aquarius then gets back to her music. "Aqua! Are you ready to start baseball practice today?!" an overly Hyper Aries says while leaning into the back of Virgo's chair, looking at Aquarius. Sitting at her desk next to Virgo, Aquarius smirks and readies her pillow on her desk and says, "Do you even have to ask?"

The bell chimes 7:30 and every one takes their seats as Mrs. Musca, a small mousy teacher with short brown curly hair and greenish black eyes, walks in and says loud and clear, "Welcome back students I hope you all had a good break. Now down to business, we have an important lesson in Biology today so pay attention!"

Leo sits mimicking Mrs.Musca while the other students who see him giggle earning a stern stare from the teacher. Virgo turns to whisper to Aquarius, only to find her already asleep at her desk. Virgo smiles and looks at her forehead shaking her head slightly, Aquarius asleep already even when told to pay attention, what a little rebel. Virgo thinks as she fixes her glasses and takes extra paper out to take notes for Aquarius.
