Chapter Three

The rest of the day rolled along just fine, it was when after school activities that things started getting interesting. Virgo, Aries, and Gem said bye to Aquarius as they went to cheer practice with the other girls. Pisces went off to his book and art club combo. The other guys and Aquarius went of to baseball practice, where Leo had decided he was gonna make sure Aquarius didn't get to be captain with one solution. Sabotage.

Yes, that's it! I'll make her look bad in front of the team today! I'll be captain for sure when the rest of the team see how bad she is! Leo thinks as he smirks as walks towards the field with a plan to bring down Aquarius. Everyone on the team gathered around and listen to the couch's 'beginning season' speech and then its time for warm up. Finally! This pip squeak is going down. Leo thinks as his plan folds out.

End of practice- I can't believe shorty wasn't effected by any of my sabotage! This thought races through Leo's mind over and over again. "Alright team huddle up! We've got some business to take care of!"  Coach Scutum called. Knowing exactly what the 'business' was, the moment everyone- well almost everyone- has been waiting for: the choosing of the captain. The team all gathered around coach and took a knee, sat down, or just stood. Once everyone was gathered Scutum continued, "New Season, new captain. I assume you all thought it over and talked among one another on the captain or captain nominees. Let's here 'em!" Without moments hesitation Taurus called out "Leo!" Murmured agreements arouse from the team. Coach Scutum too seemed pleased with this choice and was just about to hand Leo the captains coat when Capricorn spoke up, "I nominate Aquarius." Once again murmured agreements arouse from the team, Coach Suctum being pleased with both nominees, raised his hand to get the teams attention, "Alright alright the choices have been put out there, we must decide on only one." The team looked at and around each other after Suctum has spoken and all had the same thought, Who the hell we gonna choose?! That of corse was the teams biggest thought other then Leo who was giving Capricorn the death glare while Capricorn shrugged innocently. Taurus was trying to convince the team to pick Leo and Ini tried to convince for Aquarius. Aquarius was in her own little world and wasn't paying attention to the debate at hand just wishing practice would continue. Coach watched the argument for a bit and then blew his whistle causing everyone to hold their ears, shut up, and focus on him. After he was done blowing on his whistle Suctum cleared his throat and spoke, "If the team can't choose between captain nominees then the nominees must talk it over with each other. With that being said LEO! AQUARIUS! Front and center!!"  Aquarius sighed and stood up and walked and stood in front of coach while Leo took a few paces and stood next to aquarius.
"You two will go get some food for the team party and while you are at it talk over who gets to be captain and let us know when you get back, understand?" Says Suctum as he hands some of the team funds to Leo. "Understood Coach" Leo responded while Aquarius just nodded and grabbed her string bag that was next to her baseball gear bag and headed towards the parking lot. Leo just rolled his eyes and fallowed after, Great first Capricorn nominated her and now I have to ride alone in a car with Pipsqueak. Leo thought as he say the lights on a car blink. "Hey what do you think you are doing?!" Leo called to Aquarius as she headed for the car. "Getting in my car. What does is look like I'm doing?" She responded.
"You aren't driving!" Leo said.
"What the matter with me driving?"
"We are taking my car!"
"Too late I'm already in mine." Aquarius said as she got in the drivers seat and closed the door. Leo muttered some curse words and insults about Aquarius under his breath as he got in the passengers seat. Aquarius was starting up the car, and Leo looked around the insides of her car. Car really shouldn't be used, it was a black Durango. "Damn pipsqueak why does someone as small as you have a car this big?" Leo said still locking around. "First of Lion my name isn't pipsqueak and second it was my dad's car." Aquarius replied as she pulled out of the parking lot then slammed on the breaks and slapped Leo. "What did I do?!" Leo said panting and holding onto the handle on the top of the inside of the car. "Put your seatbelt on, idiot!" Aquarius pointed at the seatbelt. Leo scoffed and put it one only to hid the fact that he didn't even think about it as he marveled at her car. Aquarius propped an arm on the window ledge of her car door and held her head in her hand as she held the steering wheel with her other hand and sighed, This is dull. Why am I stuck with him? I don't want to be captain really I just want to be pitcher. Is it a big deal of captain isn't pitcher? Aquarius thought as she drove. Fuck is this awkward. What the fuck do I say? Wait was? Her dad has a new car then? How could they afford this car and a new one on top of it? WHY AM I WORRYING ABOUT A CAR?! There are other matters at hand! Leo thought as he cleared his throat.
"Yes fuck face?" Aquarius stated before Leo could say a word. "Damn pipsqueak who got your panties in a twist? Aww did you and your little boyfriend break up? So so sad." Leo huffed as he crossed his arms. Aquarius pissed at his statement punch him, which caused him to flinch and hold his arm. "Lion do you ever shut the fuck up? Can't you go two seconds without insulting someone?" Aquarius said as her eye twitched in annoyance. "Shesh pipsqueak lighten up." Leo said.
"Whatever" Aquarius says.
"Why the hell do you always look like you are about to murder someone pipsqueak?"
"My name isn't pipsqueak."
"That never answered my question."
"Will my fist to your face answer your question?"
"Short temper for a short person."
"I'm not short I'm just vertically challenged." Aquarius huffed and thought, What the fuck is this dudes problem? I'm short so what? This is gonna be one long ass drive no matter how far we go.
