Chapter Six

"Yes Coach Suctum we have agreed on the spot." Leo said before Aquarius could say anything. "Well then boy tell me, I haven't got all day I have to return a phone call." Suctum spat in a rush. Leo looked at Aquarius out of the corner of his eye, smirked and then looked back at Suctum. "We have agreed that I will be captain." Leo said. Aquarius's eyes widen a bit, having a hard time registering what has just been said. "Great, congratulations Leo or should I say Captain. Take your jacket and bring the food over to the party. Excuse me but I have a call." Suctum said as he thrust the jacket at Leo and pulled out his phone and walked away promptly talking on the phone.

Leo smirked more and crossed his arms. "Pipsqueak did you really think that I would share the spot? Let this be a lesson to you: don't be so gullible and join the softball team." Leo said like he had done nothing at all, he pressed on, "Don't get bum about it though, you really couldn't think that I was gonna let you co-cap did you? Yes yes I admit I did really mean you could, but that walk over here really got me thinking. I can't co-cap with you, not at all." Leo finished and then peered at Aquarius, who had been silent the whole time. He'd done it, she was broken. Aquarius's gaze was more distant then usual and lacked life completely, she stood so still that the simplest breeze could've knocked her over. Leo's smirk grew and turned into a smile of a champion. I really did it! I broke this little devil pain in my ass. I really got her hard, that spot must've meant something big... Well doesn't fucking matter she should've joined the softball team if she wanted captain. Leo thought as he never let his gaze leave Aquarius, while he put the food down gently and slowly put on his new jacket.

Nothing. Same reaction, absolutely nothing, it wasn't until Aquarius closed her eyes tight and shook her head, that Leo leaned back a bit. Aquarius shook her head took a few deep breaths concentrating on them or something then looked at Leo. "Um yes pipsqueak?" Leo said with slight caution. "Listen I'm going home, if anyone asks I don't feel good." Aquarius squeaked out. She then grabbed her bags and made her way back to the parking lot as fast as she could without running. "Okay?" Leo said, confused on what just happened. How far did I really break her?  Leo thought. His thoughts ended quickly as Taurus yelled Leo over wanting the food. Leo gave himself a small chuckle, then picked up the food and slightly jogged over to the others.

Leo neared turning his jog into a strut showing off his new jacket and stop in front off all the others and declared, "I, Leo, am the captain!" Leo said like it was some royal proclamation. Cheers erupted the crowed. No matter who the captain was or if they agreed with Leo's spot, they were just happy that the tension was over. After the cheers died down and excitement bustled through the conversations while the food was passed out, someone realized a certain member was missing.

"Hey where's Aquarius?" Libra asked sitting at a table in utter confusion. This caught attention, everyone looked at Leo. "She said she wasn't feeling well so she went home." Leo answered. Taurus snickered, "Yeah 'not feeling well' she's just moping, it was part of her decision." Pisces face got red in anger and decided now was the moment to let the fight out. "Yeah right! Aqua would never agree to that! If anything she was tricked and cheated out of it!" Pi yelled. Taurus returning the angry face shoved Pisces and the fight began. The two boys threw punches and insults at each other. Scorpio decided after several minutes of this that someone had to stop the two.

"ALL RIGHT ALL RIGHT ENOUGH!" Scorpio yelled trying to push the two boys apart, only earning a punch from each of the fighting pair to the cheek. Scorpio cursed in pain and annoyance and stepped back holding the cheek Taurus punched, for it hurt the most. Pisces realized what had happened and stop immediately. "Scorpio are you okay?!" Pisces almost yelled. Scorpio gritted her teeth and replied, "I'm fine." Fuck that hurt, Pisces didn't as much but damn it took me by the surprise the power of the punch. Taurus that fucking idiot is gonna pay. Scorpio thought as Cancer helped her to her feet which is when Scorpio questioned herself on when she had fallen. Capricorn decided that was the queue that the party was over, having no one noticed that it had been a few hours. "I think it's time for this party to come to a close." Capricorn said. Virgo, right next to him nodding in agreement. Murmurs and nods of heads was seen, good-byes said, people departing leaving Capricorn, Taurus, and Leo left.
