Zodiac Academy: Opposites Attract

Chapter Five

"Let's go girls, before all the boys eat the food!" Scorpio complained, as cheer was over and the Zodiac girls of the squad decided to crash the beginning of the Season baseball party like they did every year since they were Cheerleader Jr.s and the others played T-ball. This year wasn't much different but they were high school second-years now, with mastering just about everything about high school last year. Most of them wanting to master one thing the most: high school relationships, were relationships finally mean something unlike they did in middle school. "Forget food! We get to find out who captain is! I've been waiting all day!" Libra shouted. Virgo quirked an eyebrow, "Really Libra? I didn't take you for someone you would care who got it." Virgo replied. Libra let out a small giggle, "Who would not care? Everybody knows that Leo and Aquarius are the two biggest rivals of the school, they hate each other." "Good point! I can't wait to find out! This is gonna be one epic party!" Aries chipped in.

The girls had a nice laugh as they strode out to where the party was. Taurus gave a whistle when the girls, well rather Scorpio was coming closer, "Hey baby did you practice real hard for me? By the way, you look hot in spandex, sizzling hot like cookies on a pan." As Taurus said this, Pisces who had arrived moments ago was furious by what Taurus just said to Scorpio. Out of the corner of his eye, Taurus saw Pisces and decided to have a little fun. "Oh what's wrong Pi-Pi? You jealous that little pipsqueak doesn't talk to you like that?" Taurus stifled a laugh as he snorted out at Pisces. Pisces took a deep breath, shook his head and walked over to Aries and Virgo, knowing that he should save the fight in him for later when captain is announced.

"Pi! Who's captain?!" Aries bounced and yelled a little to loud earning a few glares for others around her. Aries cheeks tinted a light pink as she had a sheepish smile on her face and an embarrassed glance that the others took as a silent apology. Virgo adjusted her glasses with two fingers at the bridge of her nose, much like someone of upper-class would do. "Yes Pisces, who is captain?" Virgo restated the question with more calmness and much like the opposite of her energetic self this morning. "We don't know yet, Aqua and that idiot aren't back yet." Pisces said. "You know Pi, just because Aquarius doesn't like Leo doesn't mean you have to say down things about him." Virgo said as she giggled recalling a memory. Pisces obviously knowing the memory couldn't keep his face from turning red in major embarrassment, thus causing Virgo to laugh and Aries joining in as Pisces was trying to tell the two off only making the two girls laugh harder.

Libra and Gem stood a little away from the others engaging in small talk, but truly focused on spotting Aquarius and Leo. The spot for the captain shouldn't be a big deal, and it isn't, but growing up together and with the biggest rivalry out of them all, the spot of captain meant the world to the Zodiacs at the moment. They didn't want to miss it either. Libra spotted them and nudged Gem, who was focused on her playlist, and pointed at the two figures that were making their way to Suctum. "Everybody there.", Libra said. Her words weren't very loud but everyone heard her clearly.

Aquarius made her way over to Suctum with Leo, sending the others sitting a ways away a quick glance, Leo and Aquarius stopped behind Suctum and waited for him to get off the phone. Suctum turned slightly and noticed the two then bid his caller farewell and turned his attention to them. "Have you both talked it over?" Suctum asked. Leo nodded and opened his mouth to speak, a plan had brewed in his head as he thought over his decision with Aquarius and he knew the right way to break this girl down and tear her apart. He wasn't gonna fail either. Pipsqueak is gonna go down for good and there is no stopping me this time. Le thought as a small smirk played out on his lips.
