Zodiac Academy: Opposites Attract

Chapter Seven

The door opened slowly, revealing a small figure, Leo was about to start yelling but stopped before he could say a word. There stand a fragile girl, so fragile the smallest breeze would have knocked her out for weeks. She stood gripping the door for support or she would have fallen. She shook with sickness, her face was pale, and she had what only could be described as hives all over her face. "What did I tell you Leo? In your face!" Yoko said as she stuck her tongue out at Leo then turned and gave a small bow to Aquarius. "Aqua! Where are the twins?" Yoko asked. Aquarius was about to answer but her sisters heard Yoko at the door and called for her. Yoko gave a small squeal then ran inside knocking over Aquarius. "Yoko!" Aquarius yelled as she landed and was out of breath from the fall.

"Are you alright? We are deeply sorry for disturbing you this morning while you are under the weather." Capricorn said as he gave a curt nod to Aquarius as she used the wall and door to stand up again. "No we aren't Cap." Leo said earning a glare from Capricorn leaving the two in a small silent stare down. "Damn shorty you look like shit." Taurus said with both hands behind his head. "Well you aren't quite the looker either now." Aquarius shot back while she steadied herself on her feet. "Now here you've been sick and we thought you were moping. By the way could you please answer to your girlfriend? He wouldn't shut up all week about how you wouldn't answer anyone." Taurus said. Capricorn shot Taurus a look this time leaving both him and Leo on little ease. Capricorn gave a small cough into his fist then faced Aquarius, "We, as I assume you are aware, to retrieve your sisters for the day. On a side note, I apologize for these two idiots saying such things on your property."

"Don't worry about it, now I wanna know what the hell I was 'moping' for Lion, Bull." Aquarius glared at Leo and Taurus with great hostility that she didn't even seem sick. "Well ya know, about not being a co-captain, I said it right in front of you with the coach and you never said anything but just left." Leo said as he closed his eyes for a brief second to scratch the back of his head. The next thing happened so quickly. Leo opened his eyes when he felt a yank on the front of his shirt near his collar, only to watch a tiny fist hit him right in the nose. Aquarius let go as Leo grabbed his nose and stumbled back falling on his ass, he had one hand on his nose with the other on the ground holding him.

Fucking fuck! I thought she was sick, by what I saw earlier she couldn't even stand on her own. Well she still can't but holy shit if that wasn't an adrenaline rush I dunno what is. Is it bleeding? No but it is red, it's gonna swell and bruise I can confirm though. Leo thought as he held his nose and had a glare fest with Aquarius. Her face got red and her cheeks puffed up a bit but she took a deep breath with a deep sigh following it and spoke calmly. "Please don't kill my sisters, here are the tickets- Girls hurry up!" Aquarius said to the 3 boys on her front entrance then yelled to the girls in the house before continuing to her peers, "And I know that you won't all fit in that small ass car, take mine. I feel safer with my sisters in there anyway because I can't trust  someone based on  passed events with their things." She finished with shooting Leo a terrible look when she said trust. Woah, woah, woah, wait she trusted me? To do what? with the baseball team? No one has seriously trusted me with important things like that. Man I feel terrible now, just hearing that makes me feel nice that someone has trusted me. Nice going Le, you blew a chance you didn't even know about, mental facepalm you idiot. Leo thought as he inwardly scolded himself.

He got to his feet and realized Aquarius was holding a pale arm out to him. It took Leo a moment to realize that she was holding out the tickets and her keys to him. Being the idiot he is, Leo took them and was lost at words. Leo tried to say something to the bluenette but only managed to say a few ums and ahs. "It has a full tank of gas, and don't ruin my car or I'll ruin you." Aquarius said. Aqua stepped out of the was as she let the 11 year-olds pass, the three chirped byes as Aquarius gruffed and slammed the door retreating back to the house.
