Chapter 3

"Jul, what up," I slowly open my eyes just to have gravity shut them closed again. I feel a poke on my eyelid. "Jul, it's school what up."

"5 more minutes Robby," I managed to say.

"No, Jul bus here now!" As soon as I heard that I jumped out of my bed and dashed to my window to see the bus driving off." Robby, why didn't you go to school? Mom is going to be mad at you now also."

"I stay with you, Jul, " he said smiling sitting on my bed. I smirk and go mess up his hair. "Why can't stinky Libby love me as much as you do? Go watch T.V until I get ready," I stated shooing him out of my room.

"Okay, Jul. Call me you need help."

"Okay, Robby. Thank you for being so helpful." I grab my clothes from my closet. The best part about having a boyfriend far away is that you don't have to worry about looking good. I reach for my iPod and then head to the bathroom. I put it on the speaker dock and the first song was a classic. I start singing aloud in the shower. I get in and sing my heart out using my loaf like a microphone. Finally, after a good rinse, I brush my teeth still singing and dancing in my outfit, sliding in my socks. I grab my iPod off the speaker dock and leave the bathroom. In my room I collect my shoes and phone. Check to see if I have any new messages. Baby I love you decided to put in more hours at work. Love you- Stepphanno. I felt a grieve of sadness in my chest as I sadly put my cell phone in my pocket. I grab my house keys and backpack. "Come on Robby." He continues to sit there and watch tv. I patiently wait and then remind him. "Robby come on. You wanna go to school and see your friends." He looks back at me, "Do I still get to be smart like you and learn?"

"Not unless you go to school," before I could finish he rushes up and grabs my hand as he's pulling me out the door. I had to slow him down that way I could lock the door. Robby goes running to the gate and waits for me to catch up. I jog over to him as we link arms.

"Jul, why you leaving me?" Robby said looking at me.

"Robby where did you hear that," I said with a puzzled look on my face but I knew exactly what he was talking about.

"Dad said I no sad you leave cause God want you to be happy. God loves me and help me get smarter," he expressed pressing the stop sign button as we stop at the crossing.

"Robby you are smart you can say the whole alphabet backwards. How does that go again"

He gets all excited and starts clapping. He begins to sing the song he learned in school. "Z,Y,X,W,V,U,T... um I forgot Jul. Mom says I need practice more and study. She said Big Bird can help me."

"He helped me get smart and since we're the same he'll help you. I called him this morning." Robby sees the school ahead, "there's school we hurry so I be smart." He runs across the street as a car is coming.

"Robby!" He stops in the middle of the road. You hear a loud breaking sound echoing. The car stops inches before touching him. I run up to him. "Robby don't do that. You have to look both ways," I said nearly crying holding him.

"Watch out next time moron," yelled the guy inside the car going around us. "Don't listen to him, Robby. He's the devil that's trying to make you frown." He starts to cry. We get to the other side and I put his head up to look me in the eyes. "Be careful next time Robby. God and I want you safe." Next thing you know he pulls me down to the ground and starts praying.

"God I no want to scare you or Jul. I am sorry. The mean boy call me bad name cause he try make me said but will no do that. Thank you love Robby," he said getting up and grabbing my hand again. We finish walking the rest of the way to school as Roby quietly sang Mary had a little lamb.

We finally arrive at school and I sign us in. The lady at the desk looks up from the screen and asks, "Why are you late?"

"We missed our bus." She looks down at our names and types them into the computer. She writes on the paper and hands it to us.

"Here are your passes to class." She handed Robby and me our passes. We walk around the desk into the school. I walk Robby to his class since normally his teacher does. Along with his classmates. We walked into the room and Titdo comes up to greet us.

"Rob where you?" He said with a slur.

"Jul, sleep long. We walk here," he admitted. The teacher takes the note from him as he takes off his backpack.

"Robby, you wanna say goodbye to your sister?" He nearly forgot about me and comes dashing back to give me a hug. Then kisses my forehead. "

"Love you, Jul. See you later," he said going off with Titdo.

"Today we're going to learn about insects," I heard his teacher say as I left the room. I decided to check and see if Stepphano texted me again. No new text, well from him. New Message. I almost forgot to turn down the volume. I turn it down as I'm checking the new message. Where R U?! Stacy is talking m8r shit!- Tracy. I hurry up and run into the Sports Medicine classroom which was almost done. I walked in and everyone is looking at me. I hand the pass to my teacher. I see Tracy's hand go waving in the air. I walk over to her.

"So guess who is talking about her new 'Spainain boyfriend model'," she whispers leaning in close.

"Why does she insist on hating on me or getting better than me?" I said looking over at Stacy. Just the sound of her laugh irritates me. It was honestly a surprise she has friends. "I'm not worried about her," I managed to say. I'm more worried about Rosalie."

"Whose she?" Tracy asked.

"Rosalie is a girl that Stepphano took the virginity form. She's the girl that won't leave us alone."

"Damn, that sucks she's just trying to wreck your guys' relationship. You guys are so cute you make me sick," she said looking at me smile in disgust. "Don't worry he loves you too much to hurt you like that. Plus she was just a hit it and quit it," she said winking. I just shake my head "Very true, but still an issue." I feel a tap on my shoulder.

"This is my new Spain model." I roll my eyes and grab her phone to look at this Spain model.

"Wow, you're a stupid bitch."
