By the time Robby and I finished it was 2:30. Which wasn't bad it didn't feel like staying after; after all. "Goodbye Mr. Hiller," I said grabbing our backpacks. Robby goes and gives him a high five.

"Have great break," Robyy said grabbing his backpack from my hand.

"You too, and be sure to watch out for your sister," he said reminding Robby as he gives him a pat on the back. Robby and I head outside to walk home when my phone is vibrating nonstop. 7 missed calls. I check to see if it was Stepphano but it was home. "Where are you and Robby? Is Robby with you? I thought you guys got out early. Why aren't you home right now!" says the voice messages from both Mom and Dad. From my guess, Mom got worried and called Dad home from work. I press the call button and immediately hand the phone to Robby. At first, he's confused and then he recognizes the voice.

"Hi, Mommy. It's Robby, " he said looking excitingly at me. He focuses on what she says, "Mom, we were at school. Jul, here with me. We have fun and clean mess." He listens to her speak and then he hands the phone to me when we stop at the stop light. Waiting for the white walking guy to pop up.

"Juliette, why didn't you call," says my father. "You had us worried sick especially since Robby was missing too." I hear my Mom crying in the background and praying. "Thank you, God, bring my children home."Sorry Dad I'll tell you why we're coming home late. We're halfway home." He signs and then finally lets out an, "Okay love you too,"

"I love you too Dad," I said.

"Love you, Daddy," Robby shouts out. I hear Dad chuckle with delight and hang up. I hung up and grab onto Robby's arm.

"So you going to tell me more about the bugs," I shrugged his shoulder looking excited.

"We learn about flies, moths, ladybugs, and umm...,"  he said smiling, "and spiders. I like them they like Spiderman."

"Wow, that's cool," I exclaimed smiling at him. Then he lets go of my arm and whips off his backpack. "What are you doing, Robby?" I stood there looking confused as he searched his backpack. His eyes get super big and he hands me a paper.

"This is me, you and God smiling at us, Jul. I draw Mommy, Daddy, and Lub one too," he said waiting for my reaction. I look at the stick figures of us standing together smiling and God in heaven. I was purple Robby was red. I hugged Robby tightly as we reacted our gate. "Thank you, I'll put this one on my map board to show no matter where I'm at in the world I'll always be close to you."

"That nice, Jul," he said opening the gate for us to walk through. Our parents heard the gate and opened the door and squeezed us both so tight. "Mommy, why you cry," Robby said wiping Mother's tears away.

"I'm happy, Robby. You're home want to tell me what you did today," she asked holding his face and smiling. "Show me after dinner okay? Juliette your father and I will talk to you later. It's dinner time," she said in a cold tone. Robby heads off with Mother to his room and I go to mine. I put my backpack in the closet thankful that today was our last day of school. Winter break was in full effect. I find a thumb tack in my desk drawer and put Robby's picture of us up on my map. I smile and take a step back to look at it. A tap on my door and an annoying voice followed, "Juliette, it's dinner time. Come out of your dungeon." I rolled my eyes to her ignorance and walked into the dining room. I look over at the refrigerator and see more stick people pictures but a new one is posted on top. It had everyone holding hands. Robby shows me to my seat and pulls out the chairs. He did the same for Mom and Libby. We all bow our heads in gratitude for prayer. Dad clears his throat and was about to say something when it gets quiet. I peeked my eyes open and see Robby talking in Dad's ear. He nods, and  I closed my eyes again.

"Heavenly Father. Help my family eat food you make to get us strong like you. Oh and please make Jul, and Lib no fighting. Amen," he said clapping as well as everyone else.

"That was good Robby. Good will help Juliette one day," says Libby. I grab the bowl with the mashed potatoes and then pass it to her. Why do I have to deal with her? I should be with my love Stepphano. I thought to myself.

"What's wrong Juliette," Mother said handing me a roll. I put it onto my plate.

"Nothing mom, just a really long day is all. Robby why don't you tell Mom and Dad about what you learned," I suggested putting a fork into the meatloaf. Robby tells Mom and Dad about bugs and how some are good and others are bad. We all finished eating and Robby helps Mother with the dishes while Libby dries them. I zoom back into my room to tell Stepphano how much I missed him.

Why can't we just be together already? It sucks so much I wanna be in your arms already, and kiss you once more.-Sent message. I hear a knock at my door. " Can we come in?"

"Yes," I said looking up from my phone to see my parents walking in and both sitting down on my bed. I sit down at my desk waiting for what they would say. Mom wipes her hands on her apron. "Why were you guys late coming home today," she questioned looking up from her apron. I took a deep breath and told them. I didn't even notice how I was balling tears frustrated about retelling what happened. I head over to the bed to sit in between them. They both hold me close. "Juliette, you can't just fight everyone that talks about your brother." I wipe my face, "Mom, it's not fair no one should call him names or make fun of him. If it's up to me I'll fight everyone for Robby.

"God has plans for Robby. He's getting better at composing sentences, listening, and learning so much every day," says my father moving my hair behind my ear.

"If God loves Robby so much why would he let him suffer from brain damage!" I nearly yelled at them.

"Jul, God does love him very much. We can't control that Lubby accidentally threw the hammer at him while he was sleeping. No one was to blame. She was little and didn't know the difference between cartoons and real-life actions." I begin to get angry and think about Libby and how it's all her fault. "God didn't take Robby that day home to be with him. That means he's got better things for him to complete on this marvelous earth. You can only protect each other from harm and not words."

"Your mother is right, Jul. We can't help you with this one. Your school has already decided your punishment. We weren't aware it was starting today though." I rolled my eyes as he mentioned it.h

"Ugh, okay then," I said crawling into bed.

"We love you, Juliette," Mother says kissing my head. Father follows suit with a kiss on my head as well. I grab my phone as they leave the room. I go to my contacts and scroll through look for Stepphano, and press call. No answer. I try back one more time, and still no answer. I roll over to my nightstand and grab my headphones as I down myself in music. To sober up these emotions I'm feeling.
