Onika
"Finally!" I exclaim pulling up before the cobble stone path leading up to the house, a one story brick wall building that would have to suffice housing me till further notice.
I was excited to go look around the building seeing as I hadn't toured it yet, well not physically. I did take a look at it but it was from the comfort of my home- well, ex home.
It was cheap, it fit my aesthetic and it was closer to my job so it was basically perfect.
I rolled my suitcases out my pink coloured G-wagon- courtesy of my parents. Seeing as I was finally moving out of their house as a freshly 23 year young, they thought it'd be a nice little gift, as well as the house. Come to think of it they probably just wanted me out their house.. it's whatever I guess, I was planning on moving out anyways.
Pushing open the front door I let out a satisfied sigh at the spacious living room, it was a 3 bed 2 bath, way more than what I needed if you ask me, but I'm not complaining.
I went ahead and did my own little tour of the house, satisfied with everything in it. There was no furniture so I definitely need to go furniture shopping sometime this week.
After spending almost an hour looking through the house and taking my clothes out their tight confinement and into the wardrobe. I got a call from my mom.
"Onika!" She said as soon as the call connected. "I thought I told you to call me as soon as you got there!"
"Sorry Mom I forgot, I was putting everything together."
"Mhmm.." I could literally hear the dissatisfaction through the screen. "Anyways.. how's the house? Is it as nice as you wanted it? Have you gone grocery shopping yet?" I couldn't help but roll my eyes at the excessive questions.
"The house is nice yes, it's what I wanted and no I haven't gone grocery shopping yet I was actually just about to go do that."
"I guess I shouldn't hold you up then, call me tomorrow."
"Okay bye, love you, tell Dad I said hi."
"Will do love you too." Then the call disconnected.
I sighed, now I have to go out grocery shopping and it's what? Almost seven in the evening.
Throwing out all thoughts of procrastination I went to the convenience store not too far from the house but not before ordering some pizza. I should be back before it gets here anyway.
I got all the things that would last me the next couple of days without over spending on my budget which were a few snacks, drinks and some actual food.
I got home just in time as I'd seen my pizza had just arrived.. thank you Jesus!
I got the food, paid with a little extra tip and walked into the house. I arranged out all my groceries and headed for the bath to take a quick shower before I would finally relax and rewind and probably watch some YouTube on my phone while eating my pizza.
I'll probably call in the electrician tommorow to help me mount up my TV.
After doing everything I said I was gonna do I had finally fallen asleep on the duvets I had laid out on the hardwood floor of my bedroom.

"Girl this place is actually really nice... but empty." My best friend Lauren says as I showed her around my empty house. It was currently about 10am in the morning. I didn't go to work today since it was a Sunday, I plan on getting everything cleaned out and working before tommorow and she offered to help so that was good.
