"I don't want to play with her. She's always making me lose!" My older brother frowns scrunching his face up at me which makes me pout.

He always plays rough so I always try to avoid him hitting me when we play. That's probably why our team always loses because I'm more focused on doing that than the actual game but you can't blame me. He knows I'm a girl yet he likes to shove me like I'm a boy.

"But then you won't have a partner and we can't play two against one!" My older cousin says back holding on to the ball meanwhile I just sat there looking back and forth between them.

My two older cousins- Ezekiel and Elliot and then my brother Jelani.

With me being the only girl they didn't want to play with me— not like I wanted to play with them either but I was bored. My parents had forced them to involve me and so here we were, outside in the garden.

"I rather play alone than with her!" Jelani frowns stomping on the ground.

"I don't want to play with you either!" I frown as well seeing as he was making such a big fuss about playing the game with me. I'm not even that bad.

"Good then. You can sit this one out." Elliot shrugs which causes me to roll my eyes going to take a seat on a far away bench as I watched them start off the game.

I hate being the only girl in the house! The youngest person at that too.

Since Elliot and Ezekiel came over this summer holiday. Jelani has been blowing me off to hang out with them. Worse of it all is that they're all older than I am.

I wanted to go back inside but daddy said I have to stay outside and play with the boys. He and mommy were interviewing some new maids. I don't even know why we have so many.

Maids, security guards, bodyguards, cooks yet none of them ever wanted to play with me. Playing with toys gets boring.. fast.

I quickly got bored of watching them play and leaving me out of everything. I looked around at the driveway seeing a few people coming in and some going out.

I don't even know why when new people come to work for us my parents always make a big fuss about it. The last time I asked they said it had something to do with my dad's job but I don't even know what it is, all I know is that he has a lot of money.. I think he works for the government but I'm not sure.

He doesn't talk about it much.

I soon see a woman walk in with a young girl by her side. She was so pretty. She could be around my age maybe we could be friends?

But I don't even know why they're here. I've never seen them before.

A few days pass by now. I'm upstairs in my room watching Unicorn Academy on my ipad while the boys are over in the room opposite mine making an unnecessary amount of noise.

I quickly got bored of watching it though and decided to go look outside the window, who knows I might just get inspired to do something else from there.

I look out at the massive garden outside our house. A few maids gossiping.. the norm. A gardener cutting the grass also normal but then I saw a girl.

It was the same girl from a few days ago! And she was raking leaves?

Inspiration unlocked. I'm gonna go make a friend. My first ever friend besides my brother.. even though he acts like a douchebag a lot of the times.

You might've already guessed that I'm homeschooled so I don't get to see a lot of kids my age often.
