Delilah

We spent a few minutes coming up with a plan before agreeing to go our separate ways.

"What are you going tell your friends?" Jo asked, and I noticed a spark in Kai's eyes about telling everyone, he looked at ease...well as relax as he could after fighting ghosts and getting hitched to a girl you just met.

"I don't know," I replied. "Do you think they'll believe us?"

Bonnie frowned as she considered our options. "I don't know," she replied finally, "but I think they'd be better off knowing."

We parted ways, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of longing for Kai. I had just met him, yet I felt like we had a connection that went beyond our supernatural experience. As I walked away, I turned to look back, hoping to catch a glimpse of him. To my surprise, he was also looking back at me with the same sense of longing.

Days passed, and I couldn't stop thinking about Kai. I wondered if he felt the same way I did, or if it was just a figment of my imagination. Finally, I mustered up the courage to text him, asking if he wanted to grab a cup of coffee sometime. To my delight, he agreed, and we met at a cozy café in downtown. We talked about everything from our favorite books to our deepest fears. It felt like we had known each other for years, not just a few days.

We agreed that I should meet his younger siblings and that I can tell my friends with him.As we walked out of the café, we saw Caroline and Elenaapproaching us, grinning from ear to ear. "We heard the news!" Caroline exclaimed. "You and Kai started dating!"

Kai and I looked at each other, chuckling at the surprised expressions on their faces. "Yeah, we did," Kai said, wrapping an arm around my waist. "It was a pretty wild experience, but we're happy."

Caroline and Elena congratulated us before we all parted ways, and I couldn't help but feel grateful for the strange circumstances that brought Kai into my life. We continued to see each other, and as our relationship blossomed.

As I stood with Kai, watching the sunset over the town we had come to love and protect, I looked at Kai with admiration.

"This is crazy, we were just two teenagers from the West Coast and now we got hitched magically." Kai sighed contently. He rose and held a hand out to me as we made it back to his jeep. My stomach growled out loud make him chuckle. " Someone's hungry, let's head to the Mystic Grille I could get me burger and a Shake!" Kai joked as he reved the engine.
