for the past week i've been cooped up in my room, by choice of course, smoking my weed.
my dad would occasionally come in to talk and smoke with me, bringing in all the foods we loved to eat while we had the munchies
this isn't one of my coping skills to deal with life's bs but it definitely helps ease stress, and unnecessarily negative feelings.
i definitely enjoy my own company tho, i didn't leave my room unless i had to
now i was getting ready for the cookout they were throwing for whatever reason, i just know food & weed is gonna be there.
i wore a simple all black skims spaghetti strap dress, with some clear sandals & my pandora bracelet my dad bought
it came with the little firefly from princess & the frog, and other little charms.
"tari babe you ready?" my mom asked knocking.
"yea, here i come."
i sprayed myself with cloud perfume by ariana and headed downstairs.

"NIECYYY!! you finally back from hollywood!" uncle ty exclaimed, his attention from the grill now on me.
"i was in L.A. not hollywood." i laughed hugging him.
"same thing, how you like it there?"
"it's cool, way hotter than new york. and everybody i come across always compliments my accent, it's weird." i chuckled
we talked some more before i went back inside, where ny, ken, jae, and tae were.
"hey y'all"
"heyyy, y'all tryna hotbox in tari's range rover?" ken suggested.
"hell yea" they said in unison and i laughed, not even mad at them
we headed towards my car and once everybody got situated, i turned the music on from my phone and one of drake's old songs came through the speakers.
i already had weed stored in here and wraps, so i gave one to ken who was in the passenger's seat so he could also roll.

"so how y'all life been recently?" i asked, turning the music down a bit
"chill, i've just been hanging with tae & my brother but other than that it's either work or home." ny informed me as tae rubbed her thigh in a comforting way.
she bought her first apartment about a year ago, and landed a job at a daycare since she loved working with kids.
"y'all bet not fuck in my car i know that." i mumbled licking the blunt to seal it completely and they laughed.
"speaking of effing, i think j is supposed to be coming." ken smirked nudging me a little.
"fuck that gotta do wit me?" i mugged lighting the blunt up & inhaling the smoke.
