"At the end of the day we'll be a fine line" The green eyed lil boy grinned making the blue eyed lil boy wipe away his tears and match the smile.

"Ehhh, that's no good" Louis said.
"Why not?" Liam asked surprised.
"Cause I say so." Louis said and shoved his hands into his pockets before leaving the room whistling.
"Hey there Louis!" Harry greeted with a smile on seeing Louis enter the hallway.
"What colour would suit the best do you think?" He asked handing Louis the colour chart which Louis sat down and went through very carefully.
"What are you guys talking about?" Liam asked entering the hallway.
"Gotta paint my walls!" Harry answered excited.
"Again?" Liam asked confused.
"Nah. Last time it was Louis' this time it's mine!" Harry said smiling.
Liam looked at the brunette silently for a while then just hummed and left.

"He's in love again." Liam said making Zayn turn his attention from his notebook towards Liam.
"Lou?" Zayn asked with an eyebrow raised.
Liam nodded "Should've seen him."
Zayn hummed and looked back at his notebook. Only this time he wasn't paying attention to the words on the book but rather on the words that were replaying in his mind.
"His plan worked out then." Zayn said quietly, after staying silent for a few minutes making Liam frown in confusion.
"What plan? Whose plan?" Liam asked.
"Harry's- this whole thing- it's all a plan to get Louis to fall for him." Zayn sighed.
Liam stared at Zayn with wide eyes.
"He's PLAYING WITH LOUIS' FEELINGS AND YOU DON'T CARE?!" Liam asked horrified and in disbelief.
"I do care, Jaan. Not just him but his entire friends group knows that if this ends up with Styles playing with Lou's feelings, they're done for." Zayn replied.
"Those I- I don't know. Could you please explain everything from the start?" Liam asked. Zayn nodded and explained everything from the start, leaving no details.
"That's why you started going silent whenever he was around.." Liam said, realisation setting in and Zayn nodded, confirming his words.
"What do we do now?" Liam asked worried.
"Nothing. We just wait and watch for now." Zayn said and Liam nodded.
"I was wondering why Harry's acting so.....different nowadays. It all makes sense now." Liam said. "We should talk to Niall just in case though, I think." He added and Zayn nodded agreeing.

"So. We're asking you this again. Is Harry in love or not?" Zayn asked seriously.
It was a simple question but the tone made it feel like a threat making Niall gulp.
"He is." Niall said honestly.
"Why put on a show then? Why make a whole ass plan then?" Liam asked narrowing his eyes at Niall.
Two is always worse than one, Niall thought.
"Because there was no other way to get Louis talk to him. He simply didn't want anything to do with Harry." Niall replied.
"He brought that onto himself though." Liam said and Niall sighed because Liam was right.
"But he couldn't just sit there and do nothing. Harry has seen his forever in those blue eyes since like literally the very beginning! He's been waiting for those pair of blue eyes to come back to him for YEARS now. It's true he fucked up pretty bad and he is to blame but there's a reason why he behaves like that." Niall said.
"Nothing justifies bad behaviour." Liam scoffed.
"I know but-" Niall sighed "I've tried my level best personally to get him to be himself but he doesn't listen to me. He doesn't listen to anyone. It's for the very first time in all these years have I seen him be the Harry he once was. The cheerful, kind little Hazza who had nothing but love to give. The guy who went out of his way to help others but received almost none when he really needed it. I've seen him break right in front of me. Change into a total stranger, and honestly it hurts to even think about it. He's finally letting his guard down and being himself. Please don't take Louis away from him. I beg you." Niall pleaded.
"We'll need explanation." Liam said.
"Yeah. A proper one because we aren't letting anyone hurt our Louis ever again." Zayn added.
