Cody was so horrified he started crying.

"What's wrong, Cody?" Noah asked, feigning innocence.

"Why are you doing this to me?? I don't understand..." Cody sobbed.

"I'm not doing anything. You're doing this to yourself." Noah let him know.

"But..." Cody sniffled. "I just wanted to be alone so I can think..." Cody's voice was shaky.

"You know I can't let you do that. You might think of something...unnecessary."

Cody wiped his tears. "I won't! I promise..."

"You won't? Okay, I'll leave." Noah stood up.

"Really...?"

Noah smiled and walked to the door. "Yup. I'll make sure to say hi to your dad on my way out."

"Noah, no!" Cody grabbed Noah's leg to stop him. "Please..."

"Well, if I leave, it would be impolite not to say anything." Noah said matter-of-factly.

Cody looked down in thought. "Okay, don't leave..."

Noah smiled at him. "Oh, Cody. You always know the right words to say." He said half-joking.

"But...still leave me alone." Cody insisted.

"How could I possibly do that?" Noah inquired.

"Please. Just sit somewhere and don't talk to me."

"And why should I? Since when do you get to tell me what to do?" Noah suddenly asked.

Cody looked up at him worriedly. "Noah..."

"I don't think so." Noah grabbed Cody by his neck and pinned him down to the ground.

More of Cody's tears fell. "I don't want this..." Cody muttered.

"Do you think I wanted you to ignore me all day??" Noah asked angrily. "Am I just supposed to do everything you want while you ignore me?"

"I wasn't gonna ignore you forever..." Cody told him.

"I don't want you to ignore me even for a second." Noah snapped. "Your attention should always be on me. Always!" He raised his voice.

"But Noah-"

"No! That's enough! You got to be selfish. Now it's my turn!" Noah decided.

Cody shook his head slightly.

"No? No, huh? What about my no!?"

The louder Noah's voice got, the more scared Cody became.

Noah leaned down to kiss Cody, but Cody quickly moved his head and tried to push Noah off.

"I don't want to! I don't want to!!" Cody yelled as he continued to push Noah off.

"You don't want to what!?"

"I don't want to kiss you, Noah! Stop!!" Cody insisted.

Noah somehow got even more angry. "If you say something like that one more time, I swear I'm going to break your legs! I'll break them!" Right after he yelled that, they heard the sound of the floor creak.

They turned their heads and saw Cody's dad watching them in confusion.

Cody couldn't help but cry harder.

His dad was so confused.

"Walk away." Noah warned him.

"What?" Cody's dad started.

"Walk away." Noah repeated more sternly.

"What the hell are you doing to my son?"

Noah sighed angrily and then got off of Cody and stood up.

Cody's dad squinted his eyes a bit.

Noah went to stand in front of him. He pulled out a pocket knife and pointed it at Cody's dad.

"Are you threatening me, boy?"

"This isn't a threat." Noah said menacingly.

"Leave him alone!" Cody cried out as he sat up. "Leave him alone..." He sobbed.

"More orders, Cody?" Noah smiled angrily.

"What the hell is going on here? Someone better explain to me!" The father said.

"Nothing." Cody insisted, begging Noah with his eyes.

Noah glared at him.

"Please, Noah...don't hurt him... I'll do anything. Just don't hurt my dad, please..." Cody looked down sadly.

Noah smirked a bit and put his knife away. "Don't mind us, sir. We're doing a bit of...role-playing." Noah quickly decided.

"What??" Cody's dad was beyond confused. "Cody, why the hell are you crying like a girl?"

Cody wiped all his tears. "It's part of the game..." He lied sadly.

"If you're gonna do this disgusting gay trash, at least do it quietly." His dad demanded before walking off. "Of all the kids in the world..." He muttered as he left.

Cody's lip quivered in devastation.

Noah sighed and closed Cody's bedroom door. "Well, Cody?"

Cody was so upset that he was emotionless.

Noah sat in front of him. "Anything you wanna say?"

"I'm sorry I kept running away from you today."

"Yup." Noah said simply. "Anything else?"

Cody looked to the side. "I won't do it again."

Noah smiled at him.

Cody glanced at him before looking away again. "I'll stay by your side and I'll do whatever you say. In exchange for you not hurting anyone anymore." Cody looked back up at him.

"Really?" Noah asked, but mostly rhetorically.

"I promise." Cody said, making serious eye contact.

Noah smiled widely and hugged Cody tightly.

Cody looked down sadly.
