Noah and Cody walked to school with their hands together.

Cody was looking around worriedly.

"Can we stop when there's people?" Cody asked.

"Why? Let them see who you belong to."

"But...what about what happened last time...? I don't even want to think about it..." Cody said nervously.

Noah sighed in annoyance. "I promised not to hurt anyone if you do what I say, right? So hold my hand and I won't kill the degenerates who have something to say..."

Cody looked down. "But..."

"Cody." Noah said seriously.

Cody didn't want to make Noah angry so he didn't say anything.

After not long, they got to school.

Cody kept his head down in embarrassment.

Naturally, there was some students who laughed and whispered.

Cody hated it so much.

Noah held Cody's hand tightly so he couldn't let go.

Cody glanced up and happened to make eye contact with Scott and his friend. He stopped walking and his eyes watered.

Noah looked at Cody and followed his eyes. He glared at the couple before looking back at Cody. "Ignore them."

"I can't..." Cody said quietly.

"Why can't you?"

Cody bit his lip and looked down a bit.

"Cody?"

Cody removed his hand and ran away.

Noah got angry and then looked at the bullies.

He went over to them.

"What do you want, psycho?" Scott asked.

"I want you to leave Cody alone."

"We didn't even do anything, doofus."

"No, but Cody got scared just looking at you and that's enough to piss me off."

"Literally not our problem." He rolled his eyes.

"You better watch your mouth." Noah threatened.

"Oh, I'm so scared. Are you gonna choke me again?" Scott said sarcastically.

Noah simply glared at him. He took a good look at him before walking off in the direction that Cody ran off.

He heard the two snicker but he just ignored them.

He eventually found Cody crying in a bathroom stall.

He knocked gently. "Cody?"

"N-Noah?"

"Are you okay? Can you come out?"

Cody sniffed before opening the stall door and hugging Noah tightly.

Noah hugged him back even more tightly. "Don't worry, Cody. They're not going to bother you."

"It's not just them..." Cody started. "I'm sorry, Noah... I just can't face people... I can't handle people judging me like that... it's really hard."

Noah sighed a bit. "It's okay, Baby, it's okay... I don't want to make you uncomfortable either."

"I thought you were going to be mad at me... for running away..." Cody admit quietly.

"You didn't run away from me, right? It's that ginger scum and his braindead friend's fault..."

Cody stayed quiet.
