When Cody woke up, he turned around and saw Noah still sleeping.

He smiled a bit before remembering what happened and quickly lost his smile.

He put his hands on his neck. Thankfully, he didn't feel it anymore. But it was scary and painful.

He really hoped Noah wouldn't do it anymore, but he was sure he would.

He watched Noah take calm breaths.

Cody reached his hand out and caressed Noah's cheek a little.

"Why can't you always be this calm..?" Cody asked quietly.

Noah's eyes slowly opened and he smiled as soon as he saw Cody. "Good morning, My heart~"

"G-good morning... How did you sleep?"

"Very well, thanks to you..." Noah leaned over and hugged him.

Cody hugged him back carefully.

"Oh, Cody..." Noah sighed. "Thank you for last night...I never knew I could be this happy..."

Hearing that, Cody just had to smile. "You're really happy?"

"Ecstatic... and it's all thanks to you." Noah smiled and started kissing him.

They kissed for a bit until they heard a knock on the door followed by Noah's mother letting them know that breakfast was done.

Noah smiled at him. "Let's go feed you."

"You should eat too..." Cody said awkwardly.

The two were now on their way to school. Hand in hand, as became their usual.

Cody was happy, but still a little worried. He couldn't stop thinking about what had happened.

Noah was acting like his usual self... Cody was wondering what he might have done wrong so he could avoid it.

"It's too bad we don't have the same class..." Noah said out of nowhere.

"We have gym together." Cody reminded him.

"Yeah but we only have gym twice a week, and it's not like we can really do anything while we're there..."

"It's better than nothing..." Cody smiled a bit.

"I want to be with you every second..." Noah said sadly.

Cody laughed a little. He didn't mean to, but it came out a little nervously.

"You want to be with me too, right?" Noah then asked.

"Huh?" Cody was surprised by that question.

"Say you do." Noah's face suddenly got scary.

"O-of course I do!!" Cody answered nervously.

Noah smiled happily and faced the road.

Cody sighed a bit. Was Noah always this insecure? Cody hadn't notice.

When they got to school, Cody wasn't as nervous as he used to be, so he didn't worry about holding hands with Noah or people who happened to look at them.

Noah, however, did seem to care today.

He glared at anyone who looked at them.

He caught two people whispering something and turned to them. "Say that again, I dare you."

Cody wasn't sure if Noah even heard what they said. He just seemed on edge the whole time.

As Noah fought with a bunch of people so early in the morning, Cody was left to think.
