AUTHOR'S POV

"Before you were so angry to meet him and now you are getting ready as if you are going to propose to him" Arnav teased as he leaned against the door of her bedroom.

"You should never leave the chance to get ready" she stated applying a final swipe of lipstick.

"It looks like you just sucked someone's blood" He chuckled seeing her blood-red lipstick.

"It looks hot! But for the oldy you are, you can never understand that!" she showed him her tongue.

"At least I am old not some khoon pine wali chudail"  He laughed at his own joke.

(Blood-sucking witch)

Arnav akhir tumhara bhi dimag kharab ho hi gya. * Author sighing"

(Arnav, in the end, your mind has also gone mad)

She bent down and removed her one heel and directly threw it on him.

"Ouch, woman! Are you mad!" he shouted tossing it.

She ran towards him tensed and his heart fluttered for a mini second that she cares.

He smiled when she stood in front of him.

"Thank god it's safe" She took a breath picking up her heel.

And ladies and gentleman!  Arnav ki zindagi mein devdas banna hi likha hai.

(Arnav is destined to become a Devdas in his life)

She again crouched down to wear her heels But she was unable to tie the strap because of her dress.

Arnav shook his head and sat on hir knees.

"Khadi ho" he told her and she stood up like an obedient kid.

(Stand up)

He tied her straps gently as if handling a baby and stood up dusting his hands and then wiped his hands in her hand.

"Hawww" she gasped and hit his hand away.

He laughed and Forwaded his elbow.

"Let's go?" he asked.

"Yesss" She giggled gliding her hand through his elbow.

...

"My cab is here" She said as she saw her cab approaching them.

He nodded.

"All the best" he smiled.

"You too" she smiled back.

He turned around to go to his car when she stopped him.

"Umm....can we meet at the London bridge in the evening?" she asked nervously fidgeting with her fingers.

"Of course Aru" he smiled warmly patting her head.

"Thank you" she smiled.

"Chal ja, aur zyada tension mat le" he pushed her towards the cab.

(Now go, don't worry so much)

"Bye" she waved at him before sitting inside.

...

The setting sun casts a warm, golden glow over the bridge, creating a serene and calming atmosphere.

As evening descends, the bridge becomes a haven of tranquility. The gentle breeze brushes against the face of passersby, carrying with it a sense of peace and serenity.

People from all walks of life find themselves on the bridge, taking leisurely strolls or pausing to admire the breathtaking view. Some sit on the benches, lost in contemplation, while others lean against the railing, their eyes fixed on the flowing river below.

The soft hum of distant conversations merges with the soothing sound of the water, creating a symphony of tranquility. The city lights begin to twinkle, casting reflections on the river's surface, adding a touch of magic to the scene.

A lone street performer sets up near the bridge, filling the air with the melodious notes of a guitar. The serene melody intertwines with the ambiance, creating a serene backdrop for the evening.

Couples hold hands, their footsteps echoing softly as they walk together, immersed in their own world of love and companionship. Friends laugh and chat, their voices carrying a sense of comfort.

As the evening progresses, the sky transforms into shades of deep blue and purple, the first stars beginning to twinkle overhead. The city's energy gradually fades, replaced by a calm and peaceful ambiance.

"So, how was it?" Arnav asked as he walked side by side with Aradhya.

"Not as bad as I thought" she replied as a small smile tuck her lips.

"Your?" she asked back.

"Same" he nodded with a smile.

"So you forgave him?" he asked and removed his jacket as he saw her rubbing her hands due to the cold evening wind.

He gently placed it across her shoulders.

"Yes" She nodded but his heart felt something weird.

"You?" she asked back.

"I was never angry, so nothing to forgive about" he shrugged his shoulders.

She looked at him from the corner of her eyes as he walked looking at the sky.

She was again feeling all those butterflies that she felt when she fell in love with Rohan. Maybe more.

And the statement that she was never angry with her fiance hurt her a tiny miny bit.

"Maybe I was unable to gain her trust that she has to leave me to choose her career" he said very calmly.

She nodded looking the other side.

"So, when are you moving out?"

"So, when should I move out?"

Both of them asked in unison.

They looked at each other and then chuckled.

"So, eager to move out huh?" he teased but his mood was anything but happy.

"So, eager to throw me out huh?" she fired back.

"Why would I, mere ghar se toh ek cartoon chala jaega" he whispered.

(One cartoon will go out of my house)

"And why would I? I again have to find a new house" she whispered as they leaned against the railing.

"Wait a minute! You are not moving back with your ex?" she asked as it finally clicked her.

"Of course not. I went there to end everything. I want to start fresh" he replied.

"What about you?" he asked hoping for the same answer.

"Copy paste what you said" she giggled covering her mouth with her hand.

"So you don't want me to go?" she wiggled her eyebrows, hitting her shoulder with his.

"Teri jaise tension itne aasani se thodi jati hai" He sighed fixing her hair which was falling on her face due to the wind.

(Tension like you don't go easily)

"You want ice cream?" she showed him her puppy eyes.

"Ok" He shook his head.

"Then run!" she shouted and ran towards the ice cream parlor...

I know many of you were wanting some jealousy and possessive scenes. But I wanted to keep my short stories simple and natural because I already write all those things in my long books.🤧
