AUTHOR'S POV

"Sorry"

The man slightly collides with Aradhya, jolting her out of her reverie.

His steps were slightly slurred and he went ahead without stopping.

"Sorry? Kya sorry! Han?! Bas galti karo aur sorry bol do! Kam khatam!" she was blabbering trying to stop him by grabbing his arm, her voice filled with anger.

(Sorry? What sorry! Yes?! Just make a mistake and say sorry! End of the matter!)

The man, clearly under the influence of alcohol, continues walking, his steps unsteady.

"Sunai nhi deta? Behre ho kya? O uncle!" she kept yelling following him.

(Can't hear you? Are you deaf? Oh, Uncle!)

"Tum ladko ka sahi hai. Cheat karo sorry bol do! Murder karo sorry bol do! Mar jao sorry bol do!" she kept blabbering and crying.

(You guys are something else. Cheat and say sorry! Commit murder and say sorry! Go die and say sorry!)

She wiped her nose on her sleeves.

"Fuck you, Rohan Khanna!" she shouted and then cried more.

More than an emotional scene, it was a funny scene for the pedestrians.

She was following him, don't know why. She was just following him.

Kuch logo ko pine ke baad chadti hai, kuch logo ko pehli hi....

(Some people get high after drinking, while some get high right from the start...)

"Life mein ek baar toh pyaar kiya tha, wo bhi is bandar se hi hona tha" She kept on ranting and wiping her nose in her sleeves.

(I had fallen in love once in my life, and that too had to be with this monkey)

Still following him!

"Kyu? Pehle toh bada prince charming lagta tha wo tujhe" her subconscious injected.

(Why? Before, he seemed like such a prince charming to you)

"Leave me alone! Mind your own business!" the man's voice came slurred.

Aradhya's anger intensifies, fueled by his dismissive response. She quickens her pace, determined to make him understand the impact of his actions.

"No, I won't let you off the hook so easily!" she shouted.

The man, now fully aware of her pursuit, increases his pace in an attempt to escape her confrontation. However, Aradhya matches his speed.

He enters a pub and she follows him there too.

She storms into the bustling pub, determination etched across her face. the sounds of lively conversations and clinking glasses fill the air as she pushes her way through the crowd. Searching for the man she had pursued from the London bridge. Her eyes scan the dimly lit space until she spots him sitting alone in a corner, nursing a drink.

Aradhya's anger boils within her as she weaves through the pub, each step fueling her resolve.

She reaches the corner table, her face laced with frustration.
