AUTHOR'S POV

3 days later...

Arnav and Aradhya stand side by side in the kitchen, wearing matching aprons, ready to embark on their baking adventure. Flour, sugar, and various ingredients cover the countertops, ready to be transformed into a delicious cake.

They fist-bumped before starting.

"Alright, let's begin. First, we need to sift the flour. Can you handle that?" Arnav asked reading the recipe.

Aradhya grins mischievously, holding up a flour sifter.

"Sir, watch and learn" She lifted the spatula in the air proudly.

Aradhya begins to sift the flour, but her enthusiasm gets the better of her. With a sudden, forceful movement, she accidentally creates a cloud of flour that engulfs her face, leaving her temporarily blinded.

Aradhya's hands flail in the air, trying to disperse the cloud, while Arnav struggles to suppress his laughter, covering his mouth with his hand.

"Aradhya... Are you alright?" Arnav asks trying to keep a straight face.

Aradhya, her voice muffled by the flour, manages a muffled response.

"I... I'm fine, sir. Just a minor flour incident" she replies, still covered in flour.

Arnav can't hold back any longer and bursts into laughter.

He quickly covers his mouth, realizing that Aradhya is not finding the situation as amusing as he is.

"Oh, great! Just great, Sir! Laugh at my expense while I'm covered in flour!" She yelled in irritation.

"Accha meri ma, sorry" he says still trying to adjust to her funny face.

(Ok, My mother)

He finally composes himself and walks over to her, gently helping her wipe away the excess flour.

"I must say you look like a polar bear" he teased.

"Well, sir, I wanted to make sure every bit of flour was perfectly sifted, even if it meant wearing some of it myself" she grinned.

"You certainly have a unique way of adding your personal touch to the baking process" he shook his head.

Aradhya playfully nudges him, her cheeks flushed with a mixture of flour and laughter.

"At least you learned to laugh. And all credit goes to me" She raised her head like a queen.

"Bandar ke sath rehne ke liye bandar hi banna padta hai, ab sher banke toh nhi reh sakta" he shook his head pitying himself.

(To live with a monkey, you have to become a monkey as well. You can't live being a lion)

She hit his head with the spatula in her hand.

"Are you forgetting I am your professor?" he glared at her.

She sheepishly grinned and got back to work.

They continue with their baking escapade, measuring and mixing ingredients with playful banter and occasional mishaps.

"Sir, did you know that adding extra chocolate chips makes the cake extra delicious?" she smirks.

"Aradhya, don't try to oversmart me. I very well know how your pea-sized brain works" he warned her.

Aradhya sneakily drops an extra handful of chocolate chips into the mixing bowl, giggling.
