Derek had texted Stiles every period which upset Jake a little as he tried to make conversation within the classes he could.

"Stiles?" A voice asked from behind them as they turned. It was his friend Scott or ex friend Jake was not sure. "Scott?" He asked sickly kind and he grimaced, "we are having a... Party just a few members from the team you should come.." He stuttered as he nodded.

Jake was ready to hit the kid with a book at lunch! Fucking lunch!

"Stiles!" He said

"Stiles!" He screamed which caused the kid to look up, "what the hell, you haven't talked for 4 periods!"

"We are supposed to be Learning." Stiles said smiling at Jake. "You did a lot of learning in your phone, who are you texting?" He asked being sneaky as Stiles stuttered s reply of 'dad'. He was lying. "Sure you did." He groaned getting up with his tray. "Jake, where are you going." He looked at Stiles with a smirk. "What? You don't like being left alone, if your texting your dad then text him. I feel lied to and I don't like being lied to." He said as Stiles ushered a nervous laugh. "I was texting my ex boyfriend." Just as he said that Mr.Derek Hale walked in the lunch room. "Mr. Stilinski your father is at the door?" He nodded and began following him with his head down.

"Stiles?" Jake had yelled "I'll see you later!" Derek looked at him with slight curiosity as he began walking to the office. "Where is my dad?" Stiles asked, just as he spoke Mr. Stilinksi showed up, "Stiles." He growled marching to him. "We need to talk." He pulled Stiles outside as Derek stood in ear shot. "What is going on? I got a call this morning from your doctor you haven't refilled your meds, you are 2 weeks late." He looked at him, "I'm fine dad." Sheriff looked at his son.

"you are not fine. You think you are but you are not. Look at me, do I look like a father who is just having a fine son, I'm your dad I tell you if you are fine.I want you to refill your prescription and go to your doctor, as soon as possible, Stiles I'm trusting you."

Sheriff was worried for his son, who wouldn't be. Stiles isn't a normal kid anymore, his friends a werewolf, his boyfriend is one, his friends are just supernatural and what father is fine with that. Stiles wasn't just his son, that was his life and his family he didn't have his wife anymore, a wife that understood Stiles like the back of her hand. The beautiful woman, she gave Stiles everything from the tip of his head to his toes, Stiles reminded him of his wife.

That's why he wanted to protect him.

He felt he couldn't protect her.

Derek smiled at Stiles who hugged his dad, "I'm sorry, dad, I know it's getting rough for you. It's scary, all of this, I'm okay. I feel great dad, I love you old man." His dad patted his back. "I have to get back to work, that was just my first priority." He handed Stiles a pill. "Take it, please." Stiles nodded and popped it in his
Mouth swallowing it quickly and his dad had left and he began walking.

"You aren't taking your meds?" Derek asked waking slowly behind him, "it's not your problem." He replied, it wasn't his problem, it was his and he didn't care. "Your my boyfriend remember? Your problems are my problems." He looked at him, "no, they aren't." He scoffed, "a little double standard, my little problems are yours but yours aren't mine?" He glared at him, "your problems can kill you, mine can't. Your problems can get me everyone killed, again mine can't. Your problems have a defect that can hurt people mine hurt one person if I wasn't fine but I am." Stiles huffed out, "Because I'm a werewolf?" Stiles roller his eyes, "don't be like that. Derek, it's different for you. You almost died and didn't tell me, you made my trust break. I sound like 15 year old girl but Derek, it's different for me." Derek looked at him, he had bags under his eyes but he looked fine.
