kunigami awoke at the sound of him alarm on his phone, set at 11am. there was a match between his team and the FC Bachra, so he had to be prepared for early training.

when he clicked the 'stop' button on his alarm, he felt how hot his phone was as he saw your face on his screen.

"so pretty." he whispered as he gazed at his phone. your body rose and fell as you breathed, lips slightly parted as he could hear small snores come out of you.

he didnt want to hang up so he decided to stay on call while he got ready and ate breakfast, hoping that you would be up before he had to go practice.

he went to his bathroom and brushed his teeth, fixed his hair, and put on a new t shirt over his pair of sweatpants. he didnt bother putting in airpods as he walked out into the cafeteria to eat breakfast. he grabbed his food that he got, based on how he was ranked on his team, himself being quite high.

he sat down, propping his phone up on his glass of water, eating his food peacefully, seeing you start to stir in your sleep. he smiled as your eyes fluttered awake. you groaned and rubbed your eyes, obviously not wanting to be awake.

"you finally awake?" kunigami asked before taking a bite of his food.

"unfortunately," you said yawning, "was hoping to sleep all day." she squinted at the camera, seeing that he was eating breakfast.

"rice, natto, and miso soup, i prefer traditional breakfast." kunigami explained.

you nodded your head and sighed, grabbing your phone, seeing the groupchat blown up with many messages from when you suddenly fell asleep the night before.

"theyre still serving you breakfast at noon?"

"ego lets us choose, he used to not let us when we were in the first selection, but since after the u-20 game, he's let us do more than what we used to be able to do."

"oh okay, i think im just gonna go straight to lunch when i get hungry." you said swiping through notifications.
