Frieda and I walked together after my release from ad-seg. I had been placed in there for a few months because I stabbed a D-block girl.
"Thanks for helping me out of that fucking place," I complained, rolling my eyes.
"Well, maybe you should avoid doing things that land you in there," Frieda remarked, giving me a skeptical look. I shrugged my shoulders.
"Hey, in my defense, they were trying to kill Carol, so it was a valid reason," I explained.
"Well, thanks to you ending up in ad-seg, I had to listen to her complain about you nonstop," Frieda said. I smirked at her comment.
"She's been my girlfriend since last year. It's not my fault she loves me so much," I replied. Frieda rolled her eyes.
"Yeah, I can definitely tell. How did you two meet anyway?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Well, at first, it was a dare from one of my teammates since I was playing soccer at the time. But when I kissed her, I felt a deep connection with her, and that connection only grew stronger the more time I spent with her," I confessed.
I was never one to be open about my feelings, but I trusted that Frieda should know. She nodded in understanding.
"Nice," she murmured.
As we entered the hideout, we immediately noticed Carol tampering with a picture of Frieda's father.
"Hey, Frieda, your dad is hot and all, but I have other plans," Carol remarked, tossing the picture aside and replacing it with a poster of Burt Reynolds.
"I hope you don't mind. Now, that is human perfection, right, Frieda?" She chuckled, settling into a seated position.
"No love for me?" I joked, raising my arms in mock confusion.
Carol's face lit up as she finally noticed me. She leaped off the mattress and wrapped her arms tightly around my neck.
"Y/N, you're back!" she squealed. I chuckled and wrapped my arms around her waist. Pulling my face back slightly, I gave her a brief kiss. Then, I nuzzled into her neck, planting small kisses on her skin.
