"Great session today Hyunjae," dr. Moon smiled, "You know you don't have to come so often though right?"
It had been three weeks since the first session where she completely broke down but she was doing much better now. Even he noticed it too. She had been attending once a week per his suggestion as to not overwhelm her.
She nodded, "I know but I feel like I need to stay consistent. Plus it works pretty well with my work schedule. Are you tired of me already doc?"
"Never that, I just want to make sure you're still being social and having a life outside of therapy," he reassured her with a smile,
She nodded standing up from the couch, "Yeah my life revolves around work and my friends so therapy is a nice change of scenery."
"Good good, you want to make sure to keep these friends. They sound like they're really keeping you grounded."
"Oh definitely! I can't wait to trauma dump about my old friends," she chuckled, "See you next week."
"Bye," he waved shutting his notebook as she left.
The ride home was filled with quite a few interactions with random men, of course she was less than thrilled because she was far from interested. Thankfully she made it back home relatively quickly without much banter or curses. She opened the door surprised to see Yuta still there. He had slept over the previous night and was crashed on the couch watching some random show. He didn't look amused though.
"Hey I thought you would have went home," she chuckled shutting the door behind her.
"I was going to but I'd be bored at home with Sicheng gone for his dance thing," he replied, "How'd it go?"
"Good. Oh my god guess what!" She moved his legs to sit on the couch only for him to stretch them over her lap, but of course she didn't mind.
"What?" He asked giving her his full attention.
"Some guy was flirting with me on my way back right?"
"I don't like where this is going," he pouted.
Yuta hated that guys often flirted with her and it made him even more mad that they even did it when they were out together on dates. He could be holding hands or even kissing her and people would still flirt with her (though girls would do the same to him but that's not the point)
"I promise it gets better and don't worry I was wearing my mask anyway. He was like hey you really pretty. Let me take you out to dinner," Yuta laughed at her attempt at a manly voice as she continued, "And I was like oh my god yes can I bring my boyfriend too? he loves sushi so you gotta choose a good sushi place, cool? Instead of saying anything he literally just walked away in defeat! Hyunjae one, annoying men zero!"
He looked up at her surprised but soon burst into laughter, "oh my god this is why we're so getting married." He reached over to pull her on top of him, "You're literally the best."
She laid on top of him happily, "Right? I couldn't stop laughing when he just walked away. Also Dr. moon said I'm making good progress. I didn't cry once this time."
"That's my girl," he smiled ruffling her hair, "I'm so proud of you. I know I tell you like all the time but i mean it."
She smiled placing a kiss on his lips, "Thanks you're like my number one supporter."
"Yeah I better be," he laughed lightly squishing her cheeks to make her pout.
She was used to Yuta's little antics that they didn't even surprise her anymore. Most of the time she just let him do his thing and went along with it.
