"You've got your thinking face on," Hyunjae said as she watched Taeyong stare at his laptop.
They were at a cafe with Johnny, since he didn't wanna go alone, to try out a new shop. Taeyong was working on some homework while Hyunjae was just scrolling through her phone.
"Did you finish this assignment?" Taeyong asked her.
She leaned over to look at his laptop, "Yeah I did yesterday at like midnight."
"Help," he sighed sliding the laptop over without waiting for her answer.
Johnny let out a laugh, "You should get a tutor Yong."
"Jaehyun usually helps me but he's with his friends for the day," He pouted.
Hyunjae sipped her coffee looking around the cafe. It was cute, rustic decor hung up with some pretty lights, even though they were kind of dim. The vibes was quite and dark but some people enjoyed this type of vibe.
"Jae?"
She turned back to face her friends, "huh? Sorry I was looking at the decor. It's so dark."
"We're talking about hanging out again. Another party at the club. You in?" Johnny asked.
She paused to think for about a second, "When and who's going?"
Johnny explained that he wasn't sure when, but he said everyone in their friend group and their dates if they wanted to.
"Sounds like a lot of people," She said doing their mental math.
"Sure is but you have to hang out with us this time. I mean it," Taeyong pouted, "You always leave us."
"I'm what you call a social butterfly yong," she joked, "I will do my best to hang out with you guys I promise."
"Yeah you really do ditch us huh. I never noticed," Johnny said with a laugh.
"The amount of people that will buy you shots for being pretty is truly amazing," Hyunjae smiled innocently, "You should try it. They'll approach you if you're alone not in a group."
Both boys looked at her shocked but impressed. Though that's not what she was doing when she ditched them it was true. People would buy anyone a shot as long as they were pretty. Pretty privilege is a real thing.
"Anyway," Taeyong sighed, "So you're in right?"
"Duh," she smiled nodding.
As if she'd miss a chance to hang out with her friends. She missed them a lot while she was gone, even if it was just the weekend.
"Fyi I'm inviting Jaehyun," Taeyong spoke up.
"Isn't that like a given?" Johnny playfully rolled his eyes, "Why are you announcing it."
"Cause we need to meet his friends this time. Last time they got drunk before they even made it up the steps. He's on a mission to make sure we all meet."
Hyunjae raised a brow but nodded slowly, "How many friends are we meeting?"
Taeyong shrugged trying to recall if Jaehyun ever told him how many of them. "Honestly I'm not too sure."
She nodded looking back at the assignment at hand. This was a relatively easy assignment and the answers were easy to find, "Yong the answers are all in the notes. I literally sent them to you."
"You did?"
She nodded laughing, "Dude do you even check your phone? I'm pretty sure I sent them like yesterday."
