"Oh great mother." Mireya muttered under her breath and stared back at the wild beast. "The Great Leonopteryx." How on Pandora did Toruk Makto, Jake Sully ride one of these things. The Toruk hissed at her and moved forward, it showed off it's teeth and it's eyes burned into hers. Mireya lowered her body and stared back with same glare and hissed, Toruk raised his wings and stepped forward and swung one it's talons to her.

Mireya was quick to duck and ran under its wing. "Here's goes nothing." She mumbled to herself and jumped up onto the back of Toruk. Her feet ran fast along the back, Toruk growled lowly and took off. Mireya slipped and clawed at the beast and clung on tightly as it flew around the sky. Mireya slid her body up the Toruk and told her her head so her braid fell, her fingers latched onto her kuru and brought it forward to Toruk's kuru. "Please don't die." Mireya whispered, The Toruk went to flip over to get rid of her but Mireya connected her queue with his. Her body clutched onto Toruk as they spun and a course of energy ran through them both and Toruk cried out before levelling out.

"Oh my Ewya!" Mireya cried as she looked down and saw the forest fork high above. Toruk grumbled and she giggled and ran her hand down his neck and the beast calmed down and they danced in the sky. "This is beautiful." She whispered and her hands finally move from his neck and held onto his Kuru's and they flew nearby the floating mountains and High camp.

"Toruk." One member of the clan whispered as they looked at the sky. "Toruk!" They yelled as it neared and everyone took cover and ran away as the beast landed inside the cave. Toruk war cried and raised his wings to let everyone know who he was. Ikran's moved away from him and bowed their heads. Mireya disconnected her kuru and jumped down, and placed her wrists under the sharp crest and sliced the knot from her wrists. The green knots fell from her skin and she was able to move her hands and arms freely.

Mireya grabbed a the leftover meat on the floor and gave it to Toruk. He huffed to her as he ate and nudged his head against her. "Mawey, Toruk." She whispered and scratched under his chin. A sense of pride overwhelmed her body as she stared at her new brother before her.

"Ma Rey?" Mireya's head snapped towards Neteyam who stared at her in awe. She smiled and the forest boy stepped forward but the Toruk growled, Neteyam bowed his head and avoided eye contact with the Toruk.

"It's okay." Mireya softly pats her new ride and he grumbled once again but stood down, still watching carefully.

Neteyam moved forward again and placed his hands on her face and smiled. "Ma Rey. Do you know what this means? You are Toruk Makto." He whispered to her and the Sully's came back out and saw the Toruk's rider.

"Mireya!" Tsireya, Rotxo, and Ao'nung ran out and wrapped their arms around her body and she giggled and hugged them back.

"I'm okay. If it wasn't for Toruk. I would be left for dead." Mireya glared at the Na'vi boy, Ak'tari who gulped and bowed his head. Kiri looked to the boy and hissed lowly.

"You! You tricked her!" Kiri went to walk towards him but Jake grabbed her and held her back. "You could have killed her fully this time. You skxawng!" Kiri reached out and tried to claw his face.

"Kiri. I'm okay. Look, I'm fine." Mireya walked up to Kiri and stood in front of her, in hopes to calm the girl down. Kiri looked to Mireya and her harsh stare immediately disappeared and her shoulders slumped. "Come." Mireya walked with her siblings and the Sully's back to the Marui, she sat Kiri down by the small fire.

Neteyam

I paced back and fourth when Kiri came back and told us what had happened. My own heart was racing and all the possible thoughts were going round in my head. All of the what if's. Tsireya and Ao'nung would grow up without their oldest sister, Ao'nung would be given the stress Mireya held, Tsireya would lose her sister bond. Rotxo would lose a friend. I would lose my whole future. I would lose her.
