Part 92

Chris's Pov.

It's been some days since the gender reveal, and I've been in a bliss. A girl and a boy, just yes! I wouldn't have minded if we had two boys or two girls, but still, I'm just really happy, and so are the girls. I've also made a call for a suprise with Quinn, so right now I'm in the car with her while Santana is at work. She's stopping in a couple of weeks with well some protests from me like she could have stopped right now. But well, she's a Latina on a mission, so I lost that one.

"Where are we going?" Quinn asks me, and I give her a shrug. As I pull up to the daycare Shelby runs, I made the call with her because, well, I know Quinn would really like for Beth to be a part of our family. Like Shelby is her mom, but well Quinn is her birthmother soooo let's see how things go.

I also got another stuffed animal for Beth since it was recently her birthday. It's hidden in the trunk. Stopping the car, Quinn raises her brow at me, and I give her a kiss on her cheek.

"Let's go." I say as I get out of the car before walking around and opening the door for Quinn. Closing the door behind her, I get the large koala out of the trunk, and it only adds to Quinn's confusion.

"It will make sense in a couple of minutes." I say as I take her hand and intertwine our fingers together. "Looks pretty empty." Quinn says as we walk into the daycare, and before I can awnser, a voice cuts me off.

"That's because we are closed." Shelby says with a smile as she walks over to us. Seeing Quinn look between me and Shelby, I give her a smile. It's not like she never sees Beth, but well, she's busy, Shelby is busy, and sometimes it's just hard to combine. But now that she lives here, idk maybe we can see her more often if Shelby is okay with that.

"You're pregnant?" Shelby asks Quinn with wide eyes as she looks at Quinn's stomach, and well, she's showing now.

"Yes." Quinn says as she places her free hand on her stomach. "That's uhm why I called also because if you would want that if we could see Beth." I say with a shy smile as I look at Shelby.

"Follow me," Shelby says, and we make our way into a playroom where Beth is sitting on the ground playing with some blocks. She's grown so much well she just turned 3, so yeah, last time I saw her, she was 1.

"She still sleeps with the elephant." Shelby says, and it brings a huge smile on my face. Seeing Beth get up, she runs over to Shelby and wraps her tiny arms around her legs.

"She's grown so much." Quinn breaths out as she looks at the little blonde. "Mommy up." Beth says with grabby hands, and Shelby picks her up.

As Beth turns her head in our direction, her eyes widen as she sees the massive koala in my free hand.

"Hey, beautiful." I say with a smile as I look at the girl. As Beth tries to wiggle herself out of Shelby's hold, I release a chuckle. "Up." Beth says as she makes grabby hands towards me.

"Can I?" I ask Shelby, who gives me a nod. As she hands me, Beth, it's holding her up with one arm as she starts hugging the koala.

"It's for you." I say with a smile as I look at Beth, whose head snaps in my direction with wide eyes. "So you're pregnant." Shelby says as she looks at Quinn, who gives her a nod.

"Almost 23 weeks." Quinn says, and Shelby motions to a table and some chairs. As we all sit down, Beth sits on my lap while she's mumbling to the koala.

"You're the dad?" Shelby asks, and I give her a nod. "I called because well, we know she's your daughter, but I think we would both love it if you guys would like to be a part of our sons life." I say with a smile as I look at Shelby.
