Chris's Pov
Walking into the choir room, I roll my eyes. Valentine's Day is coming up, and I'm surrounded by couples like I never felt more single in my life.
"Okay, everybody, let's hear it for love! Your assignment for Valentine's week is to find and perform
the world's greatest love songs. Now, Regionals is next week, and we still need to raise $250 for costumes
and hair spray." Mr Shue says as I sit down next to Kurt on the piano bench.
"Oh, God, not another bake sale." Kurt mumbles, and I chuckle at his words.
"If any student gives ten dollars, we will sing these world's greatest love songs to their Valentine. We will serenade each classroom..." Mr Shue says, and we all start yelling no while Rachel is the only one saying yes.
"Two years ago, we went
room-to-room Christmas caroling, they threw food, " Tina says, and I'm glad I want there.
"And shoes." Mike ads as I stand up and walk over to Mr Shue.
"Yes, Sugar?" Mr Shue says as the girls hold her hand up.
"Here's a spoonful of Sugar for you all: Don't sweat the small stuff,
and it's all small stuff when you're rich. So, here you go." Sugad says as she takes out some money from her purse.
"I was gonna do the same." I mumble as I roll my eyes and sit back next to Kurt .
"Uh, Sugar, I can't take that." Mr Shue says but Jesus Kurt, I think I'm deaf. "Take it!"
"Okay. Everyone, give it up
for Sugar for paying for our FinalNet
and cumberbunds!" Mr Shue says, and we all start to clap.
"I love the sound of applause,
even if I have to buy it. Okay, everyone, look under your chairs.
Except you, Artie. Your chair kept moving, so I hid your surprise
in the wastebasket." Sugar says, and well, there is a heart underneath it with chocolates.
"V-Day is my fave day ever.
And to help me celebrate, my daddy's
throwing me a huge, ridic party
at Breadstix. And I'm naming it the Sugar Shack. And... drumroll, Rachel..." Sugar says, and well, Rachel starts to do a drumroll.
"... you're all invited! But you have to bring a date. No single people allowed. They're sad and boring and
they don't exist in my world." Sugar says and Well, I couldn't stop myself
"Yes!" I yell since well, which means my ass can stay home Friday woop woop.
"Um, but you're single." Mercedes says as Sugar puts her sunglasses on.
"Not for long." Sugar says as she looks in my direction, Jesus help me not this. After the whole drama with Sue, that well I ignored, and she never brought it up again, so thank you, Jesus, for that one. I don't mind being single. Well, that's a lie it's lonely at home, but Sugar isn't my type.
The Next Day.
Walking tough the hallways, I just wanna start puking as I see all the happy couples like bleh.
"Hey Chris." Sugar says as she walks over to me and looks my body over. It's too early for this.
"Morning." I say as I continue to walk to my first class. "You look handsome, well you always do." Sugar says as she grabs my bicep.
"Uhm, thanks, but I really need to go to class." I say as I quickly walk away from her.
"I'll see you later." Sugar yells after me, and I roll my eyes. Thanks, but well, no thanks.

Opening my locker, not one, not two, not three, but probably 20 Valentine's cards fall out.
