Part 97

Chris's pov.

We've been sitting here for some hours, just enjoying eachothers company, and well, I think I have a sleeping Beth on my lap as her head lays against my chest.

"She's sleeping." I say as I look at Shelby. "I'll take her home. It's been a long day for her." Shelby says, and I stand up with Beth in my arms.

"Thank you for coming." I say as I try to hand her Beth, who wraps her arms around my neck. "Thank you for the invite." Shelby says as I hand her Beth, who's well trying to cling around me for dear life.

After Shelby said her goodbyes to everyone I lead her to the elevator. It was nice that she came with Beth. I think Rachel liked it. Quinn loved it, and well, I think so did Judy.

Walking back towars the others, i sit down on the couch and grab my phone. "So lovely people, what's for dinner?" I ask them, and all heads snap in my direction. "Chinese." Santana quickly says, and I chuckle she's been well having a newfound love for Chinese food.

"Well, it is your birthday." Sam says, and I see the others all shurg. "I already put in an order." Dad suddenly says, and I raise my brow at him. "Glad we could all agree." Santana says, and I couldn't stop the laugh that left my lips.

"You're gonna lose your daughter." Maribel says with a shake of her head, and we all look at her. "What?" Rachel asks, and I see Maribel briefly look at me.

"Well, why do you think they always say daddy's girl." Maribel states, and well, she does have a point. "You didn't leave me alone for more than 20 seconds when you were younger." Mr Lopez says as he looks at Santana.

"Great." Santana mumbles. "Don't worry, San, you'll always have me." I say with a smile, but she raises her brow at me.

"No, you're gonna be a mama's girl, right little princesa." Santana says as she lays her hand on her stomach.

"With how Beth already hangs around him? Good luck." Kurt says, and Santana trows him, her famous look.

"I've said it before I'm a very lovable person." I say, and soon a pillow flies against my head. "You'll be eating a dry craker, Sam." I say as I lay the pillow beside me.

"And you'll be sleeping on the couch." Quinn says, and I give her a pout. "But you'll miss me beside you." I say, and she raises her brow at me. "I'll be fine." Quinn states, and I point at Santana. "She'll need someone to hold." I say, and Santana gives me a devilish smirk.

"I'll hold Quinn." She says, and I think my jaw just went through the floor. "Yup." Quinn adds with her own devilish smirk.

"Fine." I say with a shrug they're gonna cave in faster than I will, sooooo let's see how long they'll last.

"Quinn Fabray and Santana Lopez sharing a bed together, it must be the end of times." Rachel says and most couldn't hold their laughter including me.

Well, the others all went home, to be honest. I had a great time, and I think the others did, too. I've gotten well baby clothes, and well I fucking loved them.

I do have to say Britt and Sam were sitting close to eshxother the whole time, soooo who knows, maybe they'll get back together?

But it was nice having everyone around. King, well, he's been spending most of his time still around the girls, so yeah, that's well, the new reality I've been traded in.

Well, I get to take him for runs sooo that's what I just did. As I walk back into our home, I take his leash off and hang it up before walking further into the living room.
