Today was different than most days. After lunch, we all played a game of soccer. It was me and Cal against Luke and Ashton and Michael was the goalie.
After an hour and a half, the score came down to us winning 7-3
After dinner, which Ashton cooked chicken, broccoli, a rice, the boys had more business to take care of, so I walked up to my room and fell asleep in front of the TV.

The next day, I awoke and had breakfast with the boys. Everything seemed to feel more... 'normal'. Not that any of this was normal, but the boys started to become talkative and nice to me. I didn't stay in my room all day like I used to. After breakfast, we all went to the living room to watch a movie. I sat next to Luke; cuddled tightly in his arms.
After the movie, we made sandwiches. I still felt I had to be on guard because I knew that these guys could hurt me in a second. I didn't talk back or argue, but there hasn't been a time that I really felt like I needed to anymore.
When lunch was done, I went up stairs to my room and decided I was going to do a workout. I began doing push-ups.
"32-33-34." I breathed out.
"35." I heard a low voice say.
I turned around and saw Luke standing behind me with his arms crossed and a smirk on his face.
"You workout?" He asked.
"Soccer. Remember, idiot?"
I got up off the ground laughing.
"Harsh." He said playfully raising his eyebrows.
I gently hit him on the shoulder and he swiftly put his arms around my waist.
"So babe, wanna go to a movie and dinner tonight? Ya know get out of the house."
"You're taking me out of the house? Like on a -"
He quickly cut me off.
"Rayne, will you go on a date with me tonight?"
He stared deep into my eyes causing a smile to appear on my face.
"I'd love to Luke."
He smiled and kissed me on the lips.
I pulled away after a few seconds.
"I better get dressed."
He nodded.
"We'll leave in like an hour and a half?"
"Sure."
He gave me one last peck on the lips and left my room so I could get ready for our date.
I finished my workout and hopped in the shower. As I washed my hair, I thought about everything. Was I ever going home? Did I actually want to go home?
This question rang through my mind driving me crazy. Of course I wanted to go home and graduate highschool. I was accepted to one of the best colleges for soccer and I needed to graduate, but I also feel like I need Luke. Something about him made me want to be with him.
I shook all the thoughts out of my head and dried my hair. I dried it so it was nice and naturally wavy.
For my outfit, I decided to put on my jeans and a shirt Luke had given me. It was a little baggy, but it looked cute with tight jeans.
I didn't have any makeup that I could put on so I combed through my hair one last time. My long brown hair cascaded over my shoulders and down to my elbows. I looked one more time in the mirror before walking out of the bathroom and downstairs.
