I) 6 - "PINKY PROMISE"

"What the fuck ?" He frowned taken aback by her last words after they stayed in silence for a whole minute. He heard very well what she said, he just needed to know if she was serious about it, since she was the type to joke around a lot. But this time, her giggling was awkward, like she knew she did something wrong, and indeed she did. Ekko tried to process the whole thing, actually wondering why he hadn't noticed it earlier. It was obvious. She never left her house, despite her father holding her home she called him « daddy » and still seemed to have affection for him. He started chuckling, as Jinx who thought everything was alright joined him in his laughter.

"Are you fucking with me right now ?" His dangerous tone then made her understand he was not joking with her as he harshly spat the words to her face. His eyes slowly looked up straights at hers as she could read anger and frustration in them, well after all she totally tricked him. Jinx sighed crossing her arms. "It's not a big deal, I'm a good reward !" She tried shrugging. After all her father repeatedly told her about her worth so she didn't get how it made a big difference.

"You know what, I'm gonna go and say nothin. And you, lying bitch, do whatever the fuck you want. After all you're free now that you used me." He spat turning his back to her, his fist were clenched, he couldn't believe he let her fool him like that. Shaking his head he got back on his bike and started the engine.

"Hey ! You aren't going to leave me here ?!" She asked starting to panic as she noticed he was serious about going. The new turn this situation took didn't please her one bit. "What you thought I was just gonna stay with your lyin ass bitch all night ?" He yelled at her standing back up, like he was just waiting to see if she would dare to reply. "You can't leave me here !" She argued her voice trembling. The mere thought of being alone totally scared her, she had never thought it would hurt him that much to not have the 'treasure', she thought they could be friend. It was nothing serious at all in her eyes.

"Why not ? You did well on your own for 18 years. I ain't gon bare your annoying self any longer." He added knowing damn well he was being harsh, but he was upset, and he needed to let all that anger out. She needed to hear that, it was her fault after all, deep down he started thinking that he should've just left her in her house.

"You can't leave me alone !" She then yelled in a broken tone, starting to gasp for air, this whole situation, it made her stress to the highest level and she didn't know why. It felt familiar. But from something she didn't remember. Something she didn't want to remember.

Jinx was always alone, she didn't want him to leave her too, she thought they started off pretty good. A tear rolled down her cheek as she quickly wiped it away groaning. She grabbed her head trying to calm herself down, breathing hard as Ekko observed the whole scene, starting to feel bad for her.

He could see her current state wasn't 100% due to their argument, there was something more, and Ekko always had a big heart. So watching this scene, he couldn't just decide to leave. Clicking his tongue he stood up from his bike, took a paper sheet and wrote some information in it. Looking up he then put a hand on Jinx's shoulder but she was quick to push him away. "Leave me alone !" She groaned which surprised him, but he frowned and harshly grabbed her arm. "That's what I'm gon do, and you, you're going to go to this place, and ask for a bed. Tell them Ekko sent you."

Seeing she had no other reaction than crying, he left her arm and hesitantly went back to his bike. He certainly did not feel guilty, but he felt bad for her. One rational side of him told him to take her to his house, feed her and offer his bed, but one stronger part of him, filled with ego told him to just go home and let her face the consequences of her action. He decided to follow this feeling and started the engine, leaving the poor girl crying in the middle of a parking lot.
