I) 10 - "DAY TWO"

A new day has began, and this morning what woke Ekko up wasn't a smell but the ray of suns. Indeed he had forgotten to close the curtains before falling asleep last night. And he was so tired and lazy at the moment that he thought for a second that ignoring the day light and pursue his sleep was a good idea. But it was just impossible. The sun light was just too high for him to even try. The young man then clicked his tongue as he had trouble completely opening his eyes and decided to stand up to close the curtains, as he pushed himself up, Ekko felt a weight on his body. His eyes shot opened as he quickly looked beside him confused but sighed in relief seeing the sleeping bluenette. He couldn't help a chuckle at how bad she was sleeping. They initially weren't in comfortable positions as they slept on the floor in front of the still turned on TV, but that didn't stop her from finding her comfort by having one leg and arm resting on his body. He carefully removed her members from his body before carrying her to his room, delicately putting her on the bed as she rolled to the side.

Ekko then took off his shirt while walking to the bathroom and totally undressed there as he went for a quick shower. He was the type to keep his body healthy and doing missions on a weekly basis often helped him with that since it was a lot of physical. When he finished, he dressed up in a large sweat with a black side and a white other along with a baggy black short. He slipped on his long white socks as well before walking to the kitchen checking on the way if Jinx was up yet, but the girl was still deep in her sleep.

Ekko took the initiative to cook the only thing he could actually cook beside eggs, and so today they would be eating pancakes for breakfast. He quickly assembled the necessary ingredients and got it all done under 20 minutes, proud of the decent result.

His first job done, he walked back to the room to get the hardest one done : waking up Jinx and getting her to be ready. He sighed entering his room and went to his bed to wake her. His eyes when entering found a toy he hadn't noticed earlier which looked like it was self made. He frowned quickly analysing it and guessing it was Jinx's since it was surely not his. He didn't had one since he was like 5 so he wondered why she would be sleeping with one but eventually shrugged. Everyone have their own preferences after all.

"Hey shawty wake up." He said pushing her shoulder but she didn't react. "Jinx." He tried again shaking her body with one hand but still no reaction, the girl was not moving an inch. Ekko raised an eyebrow impressed by how deep she was in her sleep. "Wake up !" He said louder pulling her towards him but still no response from the girl. Ekko frowned as he sat beside her, her sleeping face now facing him. "Ayo you ain't dead ?" He whispered slowly guiding his hand to her shoulder to actually feel her temperature.

"BOO !" She suddenly screamed suddenly standing up, causing her to smash her forehead against his in the process. "Shit !" Ekko fell on his butt holding his head that had been attacked as he heard her laugh, he just just wondered how that didn't hurt her too because the impact sure made him recall his oldest memories. "Ayo you ain't dead ?!" She imitated in a quirky voice before laughing again. Ekko rolled his eyes like he would often do for the past two days because of her. He stood back up and looked at her laughing self shaking his head. "Haha, get up now" he said in a sarcastic tone pulling her arm as she almost fell off the bed.

"I just wanted to see if you'd kiss me to wake me up." She giggled properly standing in front of him, a little too close to his liking so the boy took a step back scoffing. "Why would I do that ?" He mocked her as she shrugged looking at him with her innocent eyes. "I don't know that's what princes do right ?" She asked unsure. He frowned at her response. "And I'm a prince ?"

"You're my saviour, you saved me ! So technically that makes you a prince." She nodded before turning around as he looked at her back, taking what she said into consideration because it sounded like she really believed her words and deep inside for some reasons, those words pleased him but also scared him. "I'm so tired— oh what's that good smell ?" Her eyes flicked open as she started sniffing the food scent that had now taken over the room.
